I sure have Andy should be awesome....im trying to sell a few things again lol.....i i to be able to go the new optimus prime by studio prime

That's great news aswell on the Prime Dave...will that be from Lee again? Did he manage to secure the Exclusive do you know?
It will be from Lee and i dont know about the exclusive but i wouldn't use the shotgun anyway.....mean it would be nice but certainly not essential.....for me anyway

Yea, had I of missed out on the EX it wouldn't have bothered me too much either ;) was always going to display Prime with the mahoosive gun anyway :yess: :lol

As promised, here is quick pic of my repainted Iron Man MKVI LSB into a clean version so that I know have a battle damaged version and now this clean version...its turned out pretty good...I've had the whole bust repainted, added more chrome to the metallic armour and also blacked out the circular disc from red to black which cuts off the right arm. Here's a pic or two but you'll find loads more on my display thread which you can find on this link :) Enjoy :wave

Looks better clean, I don't know why SS didn't just do that...

Thanks Matt...I still don't really have a major problem with the battle damage version, my one isn't actually that badly done but yea, a clean version would have kept everyone happy I think or at least offer both choices perhaps....like you had with the sideshow MKIII 1:1 LIFESIZE bust.....hold on :horror I hope I haven't given them an idea now!! :slap :lol

Here are some pics I took this morning with better lighting :)

I really like it. :)

You going to add the black detail?

On the metallic part Col? Nah...I actually prefer it like this ;) loving the shine you get inhand and it looks so much more realistic as it gives out more of an impression that the is more machinery to the suit than just the exterior

Besides, my other original bust is factory standard so nice to have two different versions :)

So i got mine yesterday. The paintjob isnt that great but ok, the arc reactor fix was an easy thing but im really pissed of that quality control of the clear coat finish.
On the frontplate i have hairs under it.
Sorry for the bigger pictures but its not easy to make a good photo of that:

This picture is although overexposed but you can see the lines on the plate, these are the hairs...

...and on this picture i marked them:

I bought this bust on ebay and you know, when you not buy a ss thing at ss direct they wont send you a replacement and that sucks!

And another :slap for the ss quality control!

My first Scar bio came like that, had a 5" hair and a few others under the paint. Boggles the mind when things like that get through QC.

I collect ss stuff about 10 years (or longer) and everytime when ss try to make a high gloss finish they failed.
Bubbles, scratches, hairs under the coat, not dried lacquer. Sorry ss but thats horrible for a collector.
You paid much on a thing like that particularly when you are not living in the us an you got a not functioning quality control and higher prices.
I know that ss wont send me a replacement but i still sent them a mail with that pictures.

:horror wow...that's probably the worse I've seen on this bust in regards to the paint apps. Are those really hairs?? WTF!!??? Definitely send the pics to Sideshow...if you don't want a replacement then I'm sure they'll offer a credit. Just hope they don't send you the email which they always send nowadays explaining how they don't feel offering a replacement at this time will turn out any better than the one you've already got! :slap we know this isn't the case as I've not heard anyone on here complain about having hairs on their ones :dunno

Message the Ebay seller to contact SS on your behalf. QC has been improving of late it seems but issue like that are unforgivable, I'm sure SS will be as pissed with the factory/QC officer as you are.
