I cant say Im happy with the new direction, why dont give the people who supported you & POed it through ARH the best available option (NYCC head + the two new heads) ? pretty much the NYCC head is better than the EX head, need to open a poll?

lol is a poll necessary? Its clearly obvious what ppl want..but if it helps get the message across I am in favor…we def need proto pics of the new stuff asap though.. :/

ARH will deliver the first set to whomever prefers the first set, so this won’t be an issue and there is no reason to anyone to be alarmed or complain about anything!
We will not mix match the two sets nor sell any extra heads separate. It is either the old set or the new, but no one needs to worry! The new (and better) heads are for those who want them!

And how exactly does that work for the people who pre-ordered through Sideshow, or a third party retailer? Many of whom may not even know about the change anyway, because of how this has been handled.

Add to which, why should it be incumbent on the customers to find out about this and then go out of their way to sort through this mess and make sure they get what they want? ARH should be making sure all customers are notified and aware of the situation, and the choices available, not the other way around.

This whole thing has been a disaster from day 1, from the over the top hype before it was revealed, the awful first reveal photo with the washed out flash, the slave girl that looks like a blow up sex doll, Conans ugly almost inhuman portraits, the confusing payment options, Averone acting like an annoying car salesman in every thread desperatly promoting the company and product.

I'm not surprised this thing isn't selling well.

To address the issue of pictures of the new heads on the body. We took a few pictures as shown and then sent them right away to the factory for production, since now we are almost 2 and a half months away from the end of production for this statue.

As far as people who want the older heads, they may have them as ordered. We will make sure of it. However, it is our opinion that once you see the new heads you may not want the older ones.

Remember, most of you folks complained about the older heads! So we went back and designed them to look like the Conan you asked.

I will be talking over your concerns with Arahom. I hope we can accommodate a solution that makes sense to all of you.
I understand the fact that some may want all 5 heads now. Lets see if it is possible, it may already be too late, July is only a few months away.

All this talk is great but people will like what our factory puts out. Later on people will be after a Conan like this and these will be highly sought after due to many reasons. You only had to see it at NYCC to know.

We made the heads because we listened to the community of fans and art collectors, not out of desperation.

ARH Studios is no where desperate, we have some great products that will change the way many collect.

Time remembers Alexander the Great!! Please don't screw that up!! ..since we are on the topic of heads...in your discussion with Arahom mention to add a helmet version head option for him...

I hope the guys who ordered this Conan end up being satisfied. IMO I think they should be able to get all 5 now

Wow you finally decided to listen to me..I TOLD YOU THE OLD HEADS WERE UNACCEPTABLE. I guess sales were so poor that you decided to bring in this last ditch effort.

These heads are quite an improvement but still do not meet Sideshow or CS Moore's standards..I like the first head much more than the helmet head....Conan's face looks misshapen and disproportionate..the epression is that of a man spaced out on LSD

PS: Most of the complaints centered around the "slave girl" why hasn't she been fixed?

yeah I think the original NYCC head was better, and more ARH style overall. But ARH seems to have morphed into Frazetta studios...

So if we bought the ex Conan thru ARH we get a choice of the original 2 heads plus exclusive head or the 2 newest heads and ex head. I would take the original 3 heads like when I first ordered. That's what I would prefer and would go on that list if ARH creates one

This is the only head I like. I would consider this if I could have the whole thing at a reduced cost with only this head. I don't want to pay for the other heads.

Yea its your opinion that we will want the new heads but we arent buying based on your opinion we're buying based on ours! You change the entire piece, take two lame pics, photoshop them, and then want us to make essentially a $1500 dollar decision to alter our statue ASAP, without showing proto pics of the new heads..if you guys are gonna do this right, the ARH EX should include old and new, and at the MINIMUM, don't try to force a decision like this without pics and just say "oh we think its better"..I never complained about the old/original head..and again as someone who placed an order to get everything, the whole "pack" as it was described, I don't want to have some ppl have things that I don't have because at the last minute YOU changed YOUR mind.

“My decision for making those two new heads was not to create confusion or to increase sales. I am not really worried about money or profits in this case. I did it because I want to deliver the best product we are able to, and I want our buyers to have the best experience buying from us, nothing else. This Conan was hand sculpted by me throughout 9 long months, so I have a very personal attachment to it, and I want it to be the best statue possible.

So in order to make everything easier to understand, and not have anyone confuse or unhappy, I decided to keep the first heads and include the two new ones FOR FREE in all packages, so this way my goal will be achieved, and everyone will be happy, and there will be no confusion whatsoever, right?? Who can’t understand FREE?!

Now to those who are just hear to complain, let it be known that ARH Studios cares for their customers like no other. We go out of our way to give you the best quality and highest customer satisfaction. In my opinion the new heads are more correct and 100% better, but you can decide for yourself now as you get both.

I am seeing that those who are here to complain are not even buying our statues! So I will listen to those who are our loyal supporters first ,then entertain ideas from those who are here just to complain about ARH Studios.

ARH Studios does art, and we enjoy creating these statues. I hope you understand that what we do is because we listen to our customers. I think once you get to know us you realize that its not all about profits, its the passion.
