yeah like I Said this is a gamble for NECA, and I am not 100% sure it will pay off. They might have a stinker here.

I would really love to know after it is released how many were sold.

I bet we will have any idea about 3 months after it hits the market. If, as ocielz fears, the ebay prices are above 'msrp' a couple months later, then we will know they actually did sell out. However, if Amazon has them for 30-40% off msrp, we will know it was a flop.

I have seen all kinds of things I thought were overpriced that turn out to have crazy demand. I wouldn't go so far as to personally predict the blade fighter is one of them, but I wouldn't be surprised either.

I am getting the blade fighter as well, perhaps not immediately. I need to wait for online reviews of the toy before taking the plunge. This is the golden era of Aliens and Predators toys and I am not going to miss anything.

They are packaged. I can see them knocking off and recasting limited, expensive stuff but these 8" figures? WTF? Anyone know if these are legit?
