A guy in a plain grey rubber suit with a horn would've looked ridiculous. Sans mutating him with a rhino there was no way to do Rhino other than to do him inside an armoured mech.

And since they are pulling most of this stuff from the Ultimate Universe, this is accurate. And I agree a guy in the Rhino suit in a live action film would look stupid. He looks stupid in comics.

They could just go with a CGI organic body for rhino and then render the actors real face into like they do Iron-man armors.

I think SONY gave their designers a few of those Dreadnoughts from Warhammer 40K and stills from Iron Man and said, give us something in line with those. That said, Giamatti is the only superhero bad guy I've been excited about seeing since Ledger so I am kinda excited for this guy.

Have you seen some of the characters that have been put on screen in the past 20-30 years? Cgi and practical, there hasn't really been anything that couldn't be done. Take a look at Tim Curry as Darkness in a cult favorite of mine Legend, some of the best practical makeup effects of the time. They took a normal dude and made him look like a badass version of the devil, it's totally believable because they did it right and made it work. A rhino man could have been done fine had they wanted it to work, that's really all I'm getting at :lol

it would have been just a copy of the Lizard. but in Rhino form. not only would it look really stupid but it would be more of the same old.

I don't think anyone is doubting that they can do organic rhino from a technical standpoint. It would just look really stupid. That's the whole point :lol

I don't think that's true at all. Look at the hulk. I can imagine a pretty cool looking organic Rhino actually. Having said that the Lizard sucked design-wise so its clear Sony is no Marvel

Heard the movie stunk... I dont think the $600 pricetag is gonna fly well with this character with limited screen time

Way too expensive and too large for my collection range. But those who really want it will no doubt love it.

I kind of want this but would rather spend money on Groot if they make one, I wish we would get some info on the possibility of that.
