That price for the case is ridiculous! They keep coming up with absolutely pointless and insulting merchandise for the game. What gives Kojima?

What's next? Phantom Pain cereal? Morpho windshield wipers?

Yeah, I can see this being used as a display piece, and it would have been better if it was made as a prop with partially functioning iDroid features, instead - eg. have recordings of Donna Burke's voice play with the press of a button. It looks ridiculous as an iPhone case, considering how sleek and stylish the iPhone was made.

I have the Peace Walker Walkman Big Boss used in the game, that was kinda cool. :lol

I think the coolest silly accessory was the MGS2 Ration tin, I still would like to get that.

How about MGS tooth pate, so I can infiltrate my mouth and fight cavities like a "Boss" :rotfl.

How about MGS tooth pate, so I can finally brush my teeth like a "Boss" :rotfl.

:mwaha

Be careful what you wish for though, just might happen.

On a side note, I was at a traffic light and someone had a huge decal of the MGSV logo on his car. I love MGS as much as the next guy, God forbid I proclaim my love with a sticker the hood of my car though.

I'd like to have Big Boss' Fox beret. I think it would be a cool display piece to have that and an eye patch on a plain foam head.

I'm the same way Ryan. I actually don't like showing that kind of stuff in public. If I do, it would be something that anyone could appreciate or write off as just a cool design of something. Maybe like a shirt with the Boss' scar. If you're into Metal Gear, you'll know, but otherwise it's a neat S or crazy scar.

I have an issue with my raiden figure. Yesterday I wanted to swap the head to the skull suit mask and it was extremely stubborn. After a while I realized that the joint was actually starting to break and now I can really do much with the head when posing it. Does anyone here know if those joints can be purchased anywhere separately?

Not sure if a 1/6 figure ball joint will work on Raiden. Ebay has a lot of those available.

It'd be a bit too big I think

I don't know of anywhere that does spare parts

The safest bet would be to try and find a dirt cheap, already broken PAK on evilbay and use the neck peg from that

Not sure if you did this already sloth but always heat the areas up before changing parts to minimise the risk of damage

Duplicate it with epoxy. Works like a charm.

haha speaking of the mgs2 raiden. this morning my girlfriend was looking at my computer. above it i have the pak raiden head on top of my speaker. she looked at it and said "that head looks just like david bowie when he was in labyrinth". not even joking. then i showed her how i fixed the other ones hair and she said "wow that looks so much better, why did they do that to him?" i replied "no one knows why". i told her what i paid for it and she said "all that money you spend on these youd figure theyd get it right". its like she was reading the forum or something.

on a side not, id go with the resculpt like ryan was saying. works great.

i used some dull coat on those solid snake sculpts and they look excellent now. i just need to give them some shading. again im afraid because they look really good now and i dont wanna **** em up.

It's true, the PAK Raiden is a near perfect sculpt of Jareth (David Bowie) from Labyrinth. :lol The movie has a strange relevance for me- everyone in my family LOVES it! My mom, siblings, aunts, cousins, you name it. Yeah, call me a sissy, but I can't help and but adore the movie as well. :lol

As for the dull coat Jason, so long as it's a spray on type I doubt it will alter your paintwork in any way. I personally use "Mr Super Clear Flat" to seal all my paintwork, but I heard it's hard to come by one in the states.

With all the horror stories I've been hearing about the 3A Rex, I just makes me more conflicted about RAY, as the latest pic below looks really, really good.

Rex is great but it has a learning curve all of its own when getting used to being able to cope with it. I had problems with it for a while when I first got it, and ive got over them. Infact I haven't had any problems in months. I actually like it more now than I did when I first got it which is strange for love to grow rather than diminish. But I think its totally something a metal gear fan should own (aslong as spending the money doesn't mean going without food. But if its spending money that otherwise would be spent on another collectible or two I think its worth it)

I cant wait to put Ray through its paces

He does look nice, but I'm still bothered by the lack of features on this guy. I mean all he really has going is light-up eyes. No water cannon lights or missile pods or anything like that. And in every pic I've seen of it, his left foot always has warped rubber.
