Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

im tired of the reeves worship of him as superman, he played a decent superman and a great clark but in no way was he the perfect superman, first hes not even close to the physical look of superman, he was built but not cut like Cavil is, Cavil is physicly closer to the comic superman then Reeves was, just because of that Reeves is not the all to be all superman, he was also in films where he was a romancing character and not the god like man of the comics when in the suit, he was playing it more as clark with a oh yeah i can take it attitude when in the suit, there was not that of a clear difference from his supes to his clark, ok same with Cavil but still . Anyways its my opinion but i prefer Cavil in the role over Reeves , who was overall a more believable supes

Perhaps some drumsticks then?
Never underestimate the power of a good theatrical flourish.

Dear Warner Bros.,

If you want to make Batfleck an incredible badass, please refer to "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." If Batman is even half the asskicker that Cap was in TWS, I will be extremely happy.

Sincerely,
A batfan[08]

Only if BW was given the SSS. :lol

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Actually fun fact: it comes full circle. Chris Evans said that Cap's fighting style and movements came from him wanting to emulate the video game, which, the developers acknowledged, was heavily inspired by the Arkham games. That shot of Cap putting that guy in a choke hold as he snuck on board the Lemurian Star looked like it was a frame-by-frame reproduction of a stealth takedown from Asylum. It would only be fitting if Batman inspired Cap, and Cap inspired Batman.:lol

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

We can agree to disagree, but since they are playing they same character the comparison is inevitable. Of course they're going to be different, but I guarantee the foundation for all of it was the original. Ain't no trace of Reeves or Alyn to be found, yet there is the hint of Reeve's face in one scene. Reeves might be the grandaddy, but Reeve is still the big daddy of the Superman cinematic universe. He was one in a million and it'll take another one in a million to come anywhere close moving past him.

That was proven to be fake. People see what they want to see. :dunno

That was CR face 101%

What do you mean?

I don't think he means an Easter egg or anything. Cavill strikes a pose at point, & his face has that passing resemblance thing happening.

:exactly:

more like dead on resemblance

it was just like this

Not superimposed, but he was deliberately shot that way to evoke a certain look. It's a homage but only on the surface.
