Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Haven't had any markings from the stand on his sides yet and I have him in the floating stance. The elbow bunching is somewhat annoying but not too big of a deal I guess. Really love this figure.

My clips been on for about 3 weeks in a flying pose. I also have no marks, but it does seem without the mod the body's muscles underneath don't pop so much.

.

So, i've made the MoS mod with the stock cape, it's better now.

I removed Sups from the floating pose, I had placed the holder too high just under the articulation point around the lateral sternum region and there is an indentation, however with time it should return to normal.

That looks great Bar. I may do the same while waiting for my Tony cape to arrive. I think I'll try dying it a deeper red as well.

I did the Tony Meis cape conversion on my Brother's MOS today(Took two hours), and on mine(Took 11 minutes).
The reason for the length of time was that he documented every step with several pics, so he could put together a video of it later.
Here is mine. Cape to cape in 11 minutes.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Dirty ****ing flying stand ruined my suit, left indentation in it!

The flying stands suck anyway, huge waste of space. These should've came with diorama style stands.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I liked the pose I had him in tho, better than the just stand there pose.

Nah, museum style poses are where it's at. The giant black flight pole kind of ruins the illusion anyway.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Nah museum poses are boring to me, why would you pay so much money on something to just stand there, also my backgrounds are black so you can't see any of the flight stands :)

Exactly. Even though I don't always have the most original poses, a pose is better than the vanilla standing museum pose
