Thanks for all the comment on my posing guys. Think ditching the Sideshow stand really helped.
A taller base really shows off the leg articulation

I did the same as you Daz. Stark's base fits perfectly with the Star Wars aesthetic. No pics to share right now but I'm pretty happy with my pose…for now.

I probably stole the idea from you then, I have no great ideas myself :lol

More great photos in this thread. Love the hunch in yours McHaleyArt and that Dooku rocks Amidala

Hahaha. No, I stole it from somebody else then too. Either way, the workshop base is a far better stand than the one from Sideshow. It doubles as a mini-dio and lights up = win/win.

Finally got my Grievous. Awesome figure! Afraid to move the ball wrist as I fear it might break. Do you guys feel the same way? Didn't like the Grievous stand so I went with the standard SS stand.

Those ball joints are deceptively strong. They're ratchet "click" joints. I wouldn't worry. Also the hands pull right off if you want to move the joints that way.

Just awful Rory. :pfft:

Seriously though, you just turned an already great figure into something phenomenal. Aside from the background, it looks like a movie still.

Still looking for your tutorial on your cape mod. I'm impressed with the body modifications but the cape is what takes it to another level. Bravo sir.

I know it's a little late to start nit picking; but all these pics have made me consider buying this figure so i have to bring up something that's bugged me for a while with this guy, in all the pics it looks like his shoulders stick quite far out from his body, it's not far off from the cgi model but i'm wondering if they're really noticeable in person.

Indeed Rory is.....the work is amazing.

Still...a lot to like about the "right out of the box" version....

Some aggressive negotiations....
