Last I'd heard, they're basing that off of Redford's comment about being the antagonist (which we already know he's playing against Fury), and the inclusion of the Red Skull in the toyline. Did they actually confirm it?

Red skull needs to come back either way. He is what joker is to batman. I was hoping he'd make an appearance in the avengers but that didn't happen.

That was incredible. My only problem with this movie is Scarlet as Black Widow, everything she saids and does comes off as forced. Her fighting moves always look like crap to me. I think Scarlet is a good actress but I think she has been an extremely underwhelming Black Widow. Other the horrible dialogue between her and Cap, things are looking great. This could be the best Marvel Studios movie to date.

Looks great, but I kinda wish I hadn't watched because it gave away so much action. The Hans Zimmer type score works there, even if it feels pretty derivative of Batman.

Or, the dialogue between them came off real cliche and cheesy, reminiscent of Pirates of the Caribbean. They’re on a mission, yet Black Widow seems to only care about hooking Cap up with someone, how is that great? I understand these movies need humor, but some of they stuff they throw in is plain nonsense.

THIS is what MADE it awesome. It would've been boring and cliche to have them talk about "neutralizing the enemy blah blah"

Vs. just discuss bland soldiery stuff? It's the running dialogue that links the scenes and it's the content of the conversation that adds a more personal touch to the scene. Believe it or not, real soldiers have these kinda BS conversations during live ops (even over the radio). They don't just converse in Alpha-Codes and military jargon.
