The fact that VW are now doing business with Takara again is potentially good news for Jazz fans as they'll be more likely to allow use of the Porsche brand again.

I just wish they'd get Sunstreaker, Mirage and Hound done. And Megatron 2.0.

Precisely what I was thinking. I would prefer to pay 20% less or so to get him sans Daniel. Potential Jazz news is great, though. He's one of my top 3 Transformers, along with Prowl and Hound.

I think Daniel & the exosuit should have been saved for MP Ultra Magnus, a new version of Hot Rod or even Arcee,

Chip Chase would have been a better option for a figure to go with Bumblebee.

My top 3 characters are,

1.Grimlock
2.Bluestreak
3.Wheeljack

So I'll have Masterpieces of all of them by the end of August

Fans Toys confirmed their Skyfire is 14" tall (same height as Daca's) and it will be pushed back and released later to focus on Dinobots.

Yeah, only Chip would have been a marginal accessory, and not something they could use to justify charging folks an extra, sizable chunk of change. Or Sparkplug would have been nice.

I would rather have the deformed alt mode but looks pretty cool.
Still interested on the height in Bot mode, that will be the deal maker or breaker for me.

looks like a panel on his chest to hide the Autobot badge in car mode like Alternator Tracks and Hound.

LOVE IT.

I like the Real world vehicle mode, as it makes him less cartoon, and more oldschool marvel comics.
Love the inclusion of daniel too. Eager to see remolds, and variants.
Hope cliffjumper is a reshell, and not a simple repaint.

You gotta somewhat feel bad for takara. Getting all those licenses must be very time consuming while third parties keep releasing stuff left and right. It's great for us, but it must be very stressful for T.Tommy.

And frankly, I get the impression that all this great stuff wouldn't even happen if the 3rd parties hadn't come along first, realizing the untapped market, and starting to fill that niche. Thus, Takara is making better products and reaping in greater profit due to the competition with 3rd parties.

it's corporate darwinisim. Evolve with the changing times, and adapt your buisness, or die.

Kinda like what's happening with the RIAA, and the MPAA, trying to adapt the market, to their old models, instead of adapting to the chainging reality.

But it's still frustrating. While it's great that we get a proper WV Bee, a third party company would just get away with it by releasing it with an obscure name like "master bee" and be done with it.

But yes, I'm not blind to the fact that this has caused Takara to step up their game as far as quality and overall awesomeness.

Rodimus mp has got to be the lowest quality mp ever. It all went uphill from there IMO.
