All it takes is a vest and shoe swap and you have a part 1 Marty. They'll probably throw those in.

Yeah that is a good point. Buy the version two would make it a bit cheaper to bash out a pt1 Marty. Hmmh... assuming this ever happens that is. :lol

I hope they release a Doc too! We need some news on the DX line, nothing new is in the DX line currently right?

I would love for a Doc, but we all know, HT will only dip deep into a line IF it will produce huge global sales. For BTTF, I do not think this is the case.

As far as the DX line goes, I'm really hoping this is just an MMS release. I can't stand PERS and while HT is improving on their PERS sculpts, I do not want to have a figure from my all time favorite film franchise ruined with a gimmicky thing like PERS.

It's a bit more complicated as Marty's hair was also completely different in part two, the jeans, the shirt was technically different. Make no mistake part two is pretty far apart from part one in terms of looks.

As to why they did part two first well that's if they ever get around to actually doing it, the answer is because quite simply they are a bunch of boneheads. I wish I could put it more tactfully but I can't. This is the company that ruined the Watchmen license by putting out Silk Specter and the hype died before they even got to do the main character of the film Rorschach. This is the company that dragged their feet to release Avatar three years after the fact when no one cared. That figure i literally warming the shelves of every distributor and wholesaler to this day. These guys also fully made an X-Men First class Xavier but never released it because everyone wanted Magneto and they didn't start with it so hype died. They started Prometheus with Shaw which has still yet to be released because they did not start with the creature which is what everyone wanted.

They get the Star Wars license and promise a figure every year but totally snooze on it...

The list goes on and on...

This could easily be a dx with multiple heads or hair and outfits. Pair that with a Delorean and that's centerpiece material right there.

That's all I want, a DX Marty and a DX Doc. I could care less about the DeLorean as I'll never be able to afford it.

Hmmm... semi-entertaining thread. I just wished the last few pages were about the figure.

Too bad the release is not from the 1st movie. Guess I'll have to wait a bit more.

Have to agree with all of this, especially the Watchmen. If there's ever an obvious choice about what figure to release first from that movie, it would be Rorschach.

They announce this, I'm making room in my display case right now, that's how good this would be. Bye bye Tumbler!

Really looking forward for this line, hope it happens some day, specially the Delorean.

In the meantime, I'm happy with my customs :)

If they are doing Marty #2... would that mean the Delorean is from #2 as well?

What a fantastic Doc. Brown! If HT comes near that I'll be thrilled.

I've been following all the interviews with Chan and I don't ever recall seeing that - which interview was it in?

Howard Chan: Yes, this series we will launch, the company is working to return the next time the car prototype is expected to launch three different versions of the design. Many consumers liked the first episode and the second episode of the movie character set, in the film Michael. Fox (Michael Fox) Each costumes will make people feel a lot of character, but now mainly focuses on the role of the film the second episode, until the time of the first edition prototype vehicle will be released after completion of related messages.

I really want to see this line come up for pre-order Soon but I hope it comes out next year in time for the anniversary. With my limited budget, I already have my figures for this year on flexpay on sideshow. I have Man of steel (one payment Left), SS Snake Plissken for august or september and the Dark knight armory for october. if they get announced soon and get released by years end I wil have to spend my Xmas bonus on these hehe. I would love to the the car but Im sure I will never afford it.

Grabbed these up from Mondo. Would look sweet behind some cool Figures ;)
