As we have no accurate way of displaying the cobra cannon, no Clarence Boddicker, no Anne Lewis, no full BD Murphy sculpt Robocop, I see no real worth to it here.

Yeah, exactly. I'm good with just the first 2-3 Robocop figures and ED-209.

The only NECA Robocop I'll ever buy is an unmasked/damaged Murphy version. If they can make all new tools for Bishop, Dallas, etc. I don't see what would be so difficult with Clarence and Lewis. They could pull them off. Worried about not getting mileage out of the tools? Make kitbashes with ****ed up, bloody versions of both. Maybe find some reuse with Anne to make an officer Alex Murphy figure (helmet, torso with body armor, etc.)

Yeah I don't see why they wouldn't make Clarence. Hes like one of the main villians from the movie. If they want they could reuse the sculpt for BD of him where hes got blood all over him. Maybe its a likeness thing. I was really hoping the deluxe figure was going to be the police car if it wasn't a new character.

Best paint on a NECA Robo yet and they spoil it with the jetpack! Me no entiende señor!

If the price is the same as a regular figure and the pack is not glued I'm buying!

I may as well pick up NECA's new Robocop figures seeing as how I bought the rest but I wish they did Clarence or Lewis before this.

Probably not. I bet it's exclusive to jet pack Robo.

Dumb on NECA's part really. Forgot this was costing more than a standard fig too so at $30 (which will be £30 over here) I'm probably passing on jet pack robo

I'd have bought a standard release robo with the paintjob they've shown and a cobra cannon, the jet pack seems like a pointless expense on their part. If they had to have taken something from robo 3 I'd have preferred if they had spent the tooling money on a Burke unmasked head, at this scale I don't think the differences from Weller would have been too apparent

I imagine the jet pack will be removable cause it's not like they're gonna tool a whole new torso for him.

In that case, he DID use the Cobra cannon on Cain at the end of RoboCop 2, and he was all blue and shiny in that one....so maybe this figure is like a 2 and 3 combo figure? Assuming none of the jet pack parts are molded on that is.

EDIT...Randy confirmed with Pixel Dan that the jetpack IS removable, so this is basically your RoboCop from both 2 AND 3. Retail around $30.

(I'm still passing....Murphy face or nothing!)

Thanks...normally I´m collecting 1:1 scale props only...but sometimes when Neca is comming out with a really great sculpted piece like this,I buy it.:wink1:

Love the yellow / black handles on the jet pack. Did Caterpillar make those too? (like the powerloader) :lol Ed has some too.

Haha...yes that is exactly what I was thinking too...as I saw the stripes the first time.Aliens:powerloader!Very modern in the 80s!:clap

About the size: I have a pic with my "spring loaded gun holster ROBOCOP figure"..this figure is 7 inch tall.
