Totally agree. Superman and batman will sell to many non community geeks that will just want that one epic piece that will be instantly recognised by all

Can you explain why the EX would cost you more money? I've only seen the EX and regular be the same price on the SS site. Thanks.

Likely ordering the reg from an online retailer at a discounted price versus ordering the ex only offered direct from SS at full retail.

SSC is located in California, so residents of this lovely state get taxed about 10% of the purchase price. That's why I bought my GL from big bad. No tax + cheaper price on the reg edition

That's 40.00 more in taxes! Wow crazy! X that by 10 or more and it adds up. We are complaining with no taxes. Lol

Again!!! Really... Do you copy paste the same comment over and over again... And just change a few words??? We get it m8. However, to you point about Batman... The regular hasn't started shipping yet so no one is in a hurry to order it right now. Once it starts to ship I think we will have a better idea of how successful it is.

Guys, if you didn't have me and CBG this would be one snoozefest of a read sonce everyone is always so full of compliments toward Sideshow. Not EVERYONE, including myself, is going to agree that everything is awesome. I was good for a while but Sideshow has made me miffed that I've been waiting for a replacement part for 3 weeks. That's probably got me voicing concern again. I know this ES is high, I don't care, I just want the MJ factory to be used. Like, wouldn't it cost them way less to ship these replacements if they would just use a more expensive factory in the first place? Anyhoo, yeah, it's good to have varying opinions and even my better half laughs and says "You can be a broken record." :lol That's just me no offense just imo and I will probably keep repeating it. You can always block me if I bug you THAT MUCH, I don't mind :)

I don't think SS made the mistake of making too many Batman and Superman PFs. Small niche market? Batman and Superman are arguably the most well known Superheros EVER. I wouldn't doubt SS is making sales on these everyday. Just because they haven't sold out yet doesn't tell me squat. If they can't sell em because people don't want em then it'd be a problem. But it's too early to say that yet. And I don't think that's the case. It's a large es and not everyone has the disposable income to shell out the prices for these things but I'm sure those who want one are saving up to do so. Furthermore there's new collectors everyday that are introduced to SS and the like. They're probably hesitant at first but once convinced they're pulling the trigger too. Once these are gone Ill bet those who miss out won't say SS made too many of these. They'll think SS didn't make enough to include them. :lecture :lol

Valid points Master!

Until Sideshow tells you to go to jump in a lake somewhere regarding your replacement you can at least try to keep the negativity down. I have had good and bad experiences with Sideshow replacements and returns: bad experience with Poison Ivy PF as my damage just qualified me for a refund and good experience recently with my Batman PF Andy B. head and batarang hand.

We all know that Wonder Woman could come up all jacked up but we hope for the best. Otherwise, what is the point of following the hobby if you are going to dread being disappointed? Why spend the money on something you are so sure will suck? Why gamble $400+ away on dread? Take your wife out on a weekend getaway and buy her a gift instead.

Complain after something happens instead of pre-complaining on something that has not happened yet. Try it....it may change your life.

Good points, I actually have been getting out of the hobby and selling a lot of my pieces including just recently Frank and the Bride. They're gone lol. Supes is a very important character to me and when I saw Bats I was disappointed but I agree I wiull have a bit of faith. The quality issues have pulled me out of the statue game... not trying to be negative... just voicing concern but understand your points thanks. :) I don't want to take away from what you guys enjoy but I have been enjoying less and less 'cause of my own personal experiences with them with quality. plus the fact that each PF costs $500 now to Canada... at that price to me it has to look great. Anyhoo, back to WW and the topic at hand...

Shield is the iconic bit. I really don't think that the axe is worth the extra cost.

Yup, you are right Chris, thanks for bringing me back to reality and saving some $$$ I thought I would want some displaying versatility, but I will most likely end up showcasing her with the shield anyway.

However, if it was the other way around and the shield was the EX, I would most definitely bite the bullet and pay for the EX.

Is this the best Female Premium Format to date?

I think it's the best 1/4 Wonder Woman statue...that DC Direct statue was okay but Sideshow's version blows it out of the water, IMO. :lecture

In my opinion so far all of the Sideshow 1/4 scale offerings have blown their DCD Museum counterparts away. But I never thought DCD's strengh was their museum pieces. Some of their best output was in smaller pieces.

I had Red Sonja and Queen of the Dead as the best females and as far as 1/4 scale, these pieces are the cream of the crop....

I sold every sideshow I had for financial reasons and I think I will start again very slowly and I'll be very picky when it comes to PFs and maquettes.

Wonder Woman made my list along with Red Sonja....
