Vader "begging" hand is not needed...

Had another email this morning from the CS rep I had the online chat with, insisting no replacement for wonky helmet, not offering anything else other than return and refund (which she knows I won't from UK, especially as I used my points on it). No mention of what they are going to do about the chipped armour either. So much for Sideshows excellent customer service so far 👎

They won't offer you at least a partial refund?

Not offered anything so far, waiting for the other CS rep I've been in contact with (regarding them not packing out the order as requested on my account) to email me back, so will see what she says.

They've always been great in the past, sent me two replacement body's for my Silver Surfer comiquette when it arrived damaged, and a partial refund on Reeve Superman when it arrived with a pull in the suit as they were aware that a lot of them were getting snagged.

Honestly, my vader was also a little wonky...the dome...I fixed it quite easily...if you pour hot water in the dome section, the glue loosens up a bit and you can readjust...if the dome pops off, no worries...

.there's a particular way the dome SHOULD have been connected...it will settle in the right position...domes which are crooked were probably attached straight but dried in a position where the dome slid or was pushed out of place...

there's only one way it could sit vertically and it would be perfect...so there's no guessing if the dome comes off entirely...just add glue, pop it on til it fits in position it won't wobble and make sure it dries vertically....

Cheers, will give it a go!

Exclusive Darth Vader Sixth Scale Figure by Sideshow Collectibles

I missed out on the pre-order Sideshow exclusive version of Darth Vader and was on wait list since it sold out. Got an email saying my order was being processed! I have to say I was on the fence prior to the pre order being sold out and was really bummed on missing the exclusive version. I really did not want to resort to Ebay scalper prices. Now looking forward to getting him. I am fortunate enough to be able to have see the original trilogy in theaters when they first came out. My head and heart exploded when I bought the special editions and saw Hayden Christian at the end of Jedi. I still can not un-see that image in my head. I am glad I bought the laserdisc versions of the original trilogy see my kids can see how it was meant to be seen. NO CGI
