Personally, I don't like the ROTS symmetric helmet. I have one of the full size signed ones, and I don't like it anymore. I would certainly buy an even *better* ESB or ANH version though.

Nope, 100% happy with this one! Plus the fact that ROTS DV (in armor) had all of five minutes of screen time and did nothing but whine. This current figure is the way I will always view Vader. I took a gamble and sold off my ANH Vader Ex when this version was announced and am glad that I did because with all the improvements, light up features, and extras, this blows it out of the water IMO.

I may end bouying it beacause, well, it's DV, but I hated the helmet, hated the shoulder armor, hated the skinny look and so on...

Package was dropped off yesterday mid afternoon. Fortunately my neighbor was kind enough to sign for it. Sooo Vader is missing his left silver tusk thingy.

I live chat SSC today. They will send me an email & request a pic.

Oh well so much for asking them to check b/f send the package lol.

Not only was my Vader one of the seemingly rare perfect examples, but I just noticed another little bonus.

A while back I set up automatic Fed-Ex billing by credit card for payment of VAT, duty and fees.

Today they sent the invoice for Vader and took the money automatically. And they didn't charge the usual £10.50 advancement fee.

Automatic billing will therefore make every order from Sideshow £10.50 cheaper in future.


A tip worth knowing for those ordering from outside the US, and something I think someone noted in passing earlier in this thread.

Can I take the 'Franken-Vader' scene seriously? Would I spend several hundred dollars on any collectibles from that trilogy?
Should that trilogy even be considered as Star Wars canon at all? ...
