Not sure if its been covered in the ANH thread (if I remember it was) but for the helmeted head there is something under it all, I know you can (carefully) remove the dome, just thought it was nice that the helmeted head was built around a head of some sort and not just a molded one unit piece.

It is a nice little accessory (display helmet). I'll find some way to incorporate with my display. It's certainly not strictly necessary but still works with Vader, even if not using the Anakin sculpt. Don't think I'll ever display Vader without his helm.

Metal tusks would be a great idea. I'd be down for replacing those. (And are you saying it would be nice, or that you're looking to fabricate and sell them? Guessing the former, but just want to be sure.) Cape looks great but so far I'm really happy with what I've seen of the stock (though I don't have it in-hand, yet). Any chance of side-by-sides and a better idea of how yours is altered from factory? Or should I wait until a sales thread goes up? Have heard great things about your work, so I'm definitely open to it.

Received My vader tonight! And to think that I actually thought about cancelling it for a bit....Glad I didn't. Very nice figure. Excellent all around. Size does not bug me at all - a tad too tall, but nothing to worry about.

Positives:
cape, material all excellent
helmet/dome = no complaints - looks good
head sculpt = very nice
light up features - cooler than I thought they would be


Minor gripe - paint app on head is ok, just not HT level....
saber blade -whoa, not good at all
Giant stand = not necessary
Little helmet stand = very cool

While $250 for this guy feels like $25 too much, really glad I got this one....!

I know you really struggled with this purchase, Matt, so I'm glad you're happy with it. Personally I'm blown away by how improved it is over the prototype pics. Was almost certain when this was previewed that I'd happily miss it, but can't wait to get it now. Still 21 days before it even ships...

I look back and realize how crazy I was, but I dunno. Those early reviews seemed to show off issues that just aren't present in person! So, lesson learned. Fortunately mine received with no cape issues, no issues with tusks....all-in-all, solid

Just opened mine for a quick inspection. Both hs have the tusks and he looks great. Great packaging and the details on the sabre hilt is awesome.

I decided to swap the ROTJ suit for the ESB and I like it better. The skinny arms and baggy legs look funny to me.
I still have some MODS to do but this is it for tonight.

I think with all these spare vader parts floating around it might be worth seeing what can be done with a new body and hasbro, Anh, rotj hybrid
