I'm liking Jingobell's photoreview!
Now I want this figure to go with Snake Eyes

I've been looking at OMG and Jingobell's pics for a while and decided to order one. Overall I think it's a great looking figure, only a couple little nit picks, never seen the film though, just a fan of The Rock! Also manged to work out a good deal on one which helped.

I think the head sculpt look off. It looks like The Rock, then again it does not. I can't put my finger on it. If he had a raised eyebrow, I would make a custom WWE Rock figure, but alas, he does not.

He looks really well done in that video. I think Roadblock is going to be my next pick up for sure. Baroness will have to wait.

I think the head looks off because of that raise "horn like" in his forehead, The Rock definitely have it but it's not as big as it is in the figure.

I decided long time back not to buy it because of that head sculpt but after seeing the tattoos and how it looks in the black t-shirt I will have to ask BBTS to just bring it.. Got it? Bring it.. Rock.. Anyway.

Is alter ego the cheapest place to get this guy? Usually typhon has the best prices but they don't have this guy.

i think they did a fantastic job on this figure. the head sculpt looks incredible in my eyes.

I hope the vest can be adjusted using those straps on the side. If it's sewn shut, I would forego my attempt to pad his torso a little for more mass.

unfortunately wont help when his shirts off... got the rocks tattoos... but not on the rocks body!

Even though 'in hand' pics have been shown, it feels like there's no buzz in here

I like the figure, but I'm not overly impressed with the head sculpt. It's cool that it has the tattoo's, but the body looks to tiny for The Rock, that he'd look weird displayed shirtless showing them off. Still want though. It's a good GI Joe Retaliation figure.

unfortunately wont help when his shirts off... got the rocks tattoos... but not on the rocks body!

I think with the t shirt, uniform top and vest on, it pretty much hits the movie proportions.

The problem is for all those people wanting that tatt'd body for other Rock projects. Its like they just sabotaged the whole reason for putting the tats on

Yeah, I feel for those who plan to use the figure for other Dwayne movie kitbashes that require him shirtless or without layered clothing.

Makes me think that neither the franchise (and the character) nor The Rock are special to Hot Toys. They had previously developed new muscle bodies for other characters/actors, but they wouldn't give Dwayne/Roadblock that. Again, they could have just re-issued the MMS T2 body with a darker skin tone and tattoos, but they took the shorter route and gave him a combo of Sly's torso and Arnie's DX10/13 arms.

yep, as roadblock with his kit on he looks good... he doesnt look that big in this pic!
Head Sculpt looks ok, but then it always did & doesnt look changed to me... unless skintone is different... hard to tell with different lighting in pics... unless they have changed the original pics... or my eyes are just gettin old!

Yep, although it probably won't matter to Retaliation fans, I think they definitely lost out a little going this route.
