I did the same thing. I think I'm paying $65 or something with my rewards factored in. Doesn't start until March either other than NRD.

I wonder is the shipping price they have listed just an estimate? For curiosity I added one to my cart and everything and it shows a shipping price of $23.55. I could save about $50 total by going with them. Not sure what I want to do yet.

I thinking that too, but given I need time to pay off my bills right now, I'm thinking about doing that rather than have to add $70 or so over the next 8 months. If I could get payments cleared off, then I could just save and cut on spending until that big bill arrives.

It's not that I don't have the money available or couldn't save it by then it's just a lot to throw down at one time. That's why I sort of like Sideshow because the flex pay makes it a bit easier. I'm still wondering how Alter Ego's shipping really works. I'm kind of thinking it's going to be more than the price they have listed in the cart but I guess I don't know for sure.

By 2015 it'll be closer to $900 and most collectors won't even bat an eye.


They take it slow and steady so you don't notice the ever reaching increase.

I completely agree. Having a final payment of 70-80 dollars beats having to pay 650 at once.

Plus it let's me collect other figures too. Instead of getting bombarded with tons of full price figures and then having to let some go, I can get the figures I want and maybe only pay 2-300 bucks at one go

Is the shipping going to change? Mine is actually cheaper than SSC by 50 cents or so. I hear ya, I would probably do flexplan as well if I wasn't currently paying off so many bills. I know they do double box which is nice. I'd probably save about $30 buying from them as well as bought myself some time to prepare.
