Just glue some of the same material SSC used to correct the Stormtrooper's chest plate onto the pants leg and run it under the foot and glue it to the other side of the pants leg. Then you have a flexible blousing that will keep the pants straight, similar to what we did in the military for our dress uniforms.

:exactly: David Prowse was a huge mofo in the DV suit so he should be tall figure.
As to the baggy pant issue i think someone said something about taking off the boots and binding his pantlegs before putting the boots back on.

I wont know what i can do till i have it, though i do wish i could do something about the skinny arms. His legs dont look skinny so why do his arms :dunno

Vader is huge. He will have a great shelf presence.:yess:

I'm picking up both Malgus and Vader but man does Vader put Malgus in his place with that picture, as it should be.

I'm over the moon with Vader.

I think the pants being baggy will be a quick mod fix. The person that did that review said that every time you put the boots back on, the pants ride up again. So why not do something to hold the pants on the bottom by the feet so when you slide the boots back on, the pants stay in place and keep a tighter fit? That's the first thing I am going to do when this figure is in my hands.

The pants riding up May be a problem he had but it wasn't an issue for me...

Bottom line is the badger is an awesome accomplishment and when you see it in hand you fall in love with it. It has become my favourite Star Wars 1/6 scale figure hands down. Cancelling it before seeing it in hand is simply over reactionary and short sighted. SSC offers a return policy that allows you to see the product in hand before going for a refund.

I feel that many people cancelling are doing it for the wrong reasons and ultimately will regret it.

Honestly, he is gonna look the same as the other Vader when next to other figures: out-of-scale, BIG TIME!

I find it amazing that SSC made some of the exact same mistakes as to the last Vader...but what do I know?

I was kind of expecting the same presence from malgus, but I've cancelled for now so no worries there. And Vader is looking awesome , short term plan is to have him to one side of the emps throne hands on waist until Jedi Luke is sorted or I can build the platform from empire

This one is a bit shorter then the last and I have no issue displaying it with ssc stormies, so this one is going to bad fine in my eyes, and at this stage apart from fixing the fit of the pants there's no other mods required. Looks great

He's 6mm too tall. What do you know?
Yeah, it's what I keep trying to say. He's really not that out of scale supposing 13.75" is accurate. Just Googled again and David Prowse himself says he was "about 6' 9" (81"/6 = 13.5")". Supposing the figure were blown-up to 1:1, that makes it a whole inch-and-a-half out of scale (6' 10.5"). That's negligible enough not to matter.
