Spiders > Ants

Oh yeah! Ever see a spider kill an ant...Very rare... I've seen lots of spiders killed by ants when they walk on the mound or close to it...don't ever Fk with ants. They are the Hasidic Jews/mob rules of the insect world . Fact

Wouldn't matter, outside of Avenger comics Ant-Man has no exposure

The most recognizable thing Hank Pym has ever done (besides create Ultron):

Just unusual to not hear of him. I'm not a fan but have been aware of him since the 60's. Nothing to do with his exposure really, most comic/superhero fans/readers are aware of who exists in those "universes". Especially long standing charadters.

I know he created Ultron and hit his wife, might have seen him in one or two events but thats as far as i know him.

The masses know of the flagships, Spider-Man and his characters, X-Men, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, Daredevil and Thor. Mostly due to cartoons, movies, toys and pop culture moreso than the comics.

Any other than those are generally unknowns until their movie debuts.

I guess, Just seems odd not to have ver heard of a decades old character. Granted, with all the new redo versions and ultimate versions of characters, some old stand bys had to fall. I still get a kick thinking about a guy a while back arguing how Nick Fury was always black and people should just stop asking for a white version.
What a maroon :lol

Antman wasn't a solid character throughout Marvel history though, he was YellowJacket, Giant Man, Goliath, etc..etc... Even in his early days, he was not holding an identity for more than a year or two, add in that, his constant mental problems, wife abuse, hes just never been very popular, sure hes iconic and established to thoise of us into comics, but hes also confusing, so I'm sure to your average moviegoer he may "sound familiar" at best. Definitely not the name most characters from the early 60s have made for themselves over the years.
