Thanks for the pictures User! :hi5:

With everything happening in the MOS thread, I'd missed your reply here!

It's difficult to judge from the pics though, the sculpt seems off but I can't say if it's due to the sculpting or to the subpar paint job. What are your thoughts about it?

The sculpt is amazing. It faithfully recreates her face. In my opinion, from every angle it's perfect.
But it has a really bad paintjob. If they just took a leaf out of HT's book and used decals for the eyes, it would really raise their game a lot higher.
I reckon if i was able to remove the neck, hollow out the head and strip the paint, then get the resultant part cast in a flesh coloured resin(Or even better, the PVC HT uses), it could be a *great* base for a custom Faora.

Thanks:)

Well, you could probably recast the head without removing it from the statue. My experience with silicon is if you add a lot more of the curing component (6 or 7 % instead of the 2 or 3 they recommend), it makes some sort of thick silicon that hardens in a matter of minutes .

Of course. But I would have to clay it up first.
And i have already busted off the head to make sure it would come off.

I don't normally take or share pics but I had to with this one. Just wow!

Wow, incredible pic Gipetto. No offense to anyone else but your pic is the closest I've seen to actually represent what it looks like in-hand.

Here is mine.

And the mods begin! And off to a fantastic start there on Maximus....can't wait to see the completed version...

Meanwhile....finally getting a chance to really admire this figure....

Nice photo there 'jedibear'. Could anyone be so kind as to measure the base for me (corner to corner and bottom tip to top)? :D

The difference in sculpts is amazing. I might have to buy a second sculpt now for my general

Great picture there Gipetto. :clap Think it's time to pick this guy up with Supes on the way.
It's definitely a fine looking figure for sure and if you're a fan of the movie I say get it. It was a no brainer. Even if they make an armored version, I'll still keep this one
Excellent shot, Gipetto0812....I'm really digging this one too....looks great!
Thanks :hi5:
Some one in the ACI General thread is working on it.

Nice shot Jedibear! Love the snowtrooper in your sig too!
How are you going to "de-age" his face???? LOL
His face hasn't changed that much IMO. The figure doesn't have tons of deep wrinkles so taking the grey out of the beard should do it
