Just a quick question. Does anyone else have issues with the eyes when lit that they go dull. I've changed the batteries twice now and must admit I never really turn the lights on. But still the light for the eyes seems to drain the batteries quite quickly. Hmmmm. Just a wee thing that has bugged me.

It may depend on what type of battery you're buying. If they're cheaper, than they'll die out sooner.

I've been using duracell. Might just be a faulty connection or something. I'll try a different make of battery and see how I get on.

What are the chances of the batteries leaking? Im keeping my MOC for now... but I heard the batteries leak. So, I'm thinking about opening it and removing the batteries(there's 3 right?).

Also, there's a little plastic oar with the instructions... Is this a screw driver for the battery places?

Thanks.

got this a month ago, still can't get over how good this figure, my one and only iron man.

You're chances are really low at this point, either you buy it here or just wait for silver centurion for the cheaper option.

Opened mine up today and removed the batteries. Wow, 12 all up. The helmet, both arms, and the back.

It's an impressive system to light these things up.
During the summer, i removed all the batteries from my MKIIAU, MKIII(I have two), MKIV, MKV, MKVI, and War Machine. It was over 70 batteries to be replaced.
Took me all afternoon!
I'm always glad to take delivery of a figure like Captain America or Selina Kyle that doesn't use batteries!

Just got on the waitlist after hesitating due to low pay. How long have most of you taken to get your waitlist converted?

Well
crap

You never know.
Keep your hopes alive.
If you don't get one, there are loads of people with a spare one i bet.
Or just one that they want to sell.
The most recent one i bought here in the UK was at the inflated UK prices a couple of months back, and that was £250/$409.
I still have that one boxed in it's shipper but i expect i will eventually be able to get rid of it for what i paid for it.
