I'm wondering if one of the lucky folks with theirs already delivered might be able to measure the l x w of the widest part of the bottom of the base and post the dimensions?

My display area is going to end up near a wall, and it looks like picking up a turntable (even a manual one for now) will be the way to go.

So true- every time I walk into my "statue room" my eyes go straight to this statue. I has so much presence and is so dynamic you can imagine the battle happening!! I really LOVE this statue. And a turn table or other contraption to see all sides is totally not necessary - it looks great from the front arch.

I just place my order of the white one, the ape in white just is better to me. Black is too much, you can't see the details. (Nothing to take away from all the EX owners, just my preference)

I just hope the add-on will be more than a generic "damsel in distress".

Conan hangs out with some very capable women that aren't at all helpless (think Bêlit from the stories or Valeria from the first film).

I'd far rather see a warrior woman, knocked down and injured perhaps, but scrambling for her weapon, rather than yet another silk clad, panic stricken princess or slave girl...

The vast majority of Conan's women are helpless women in need of Conan's protection. At least in the original short stories anyways. And comics come to think of it.
