Thanks to Sideshow's Spooktacular reward points giveaway I managed to order this 30 bucks off. Instead of paying 224 after shipping, the total will now be 194 shipped.

I sniped in at the last minute last week on Ebay and got one for $62 and change.
The base is very nice, you don't just have to plonk Supes on it either.

Makes no sense to bid early.
If i were willing to pay £40, i usually add some ridiculous amount on top as my bid(Like £43.87 or similar). Most people round up their max bids. You'd be amazed how often weird bidding amounts bid in the last six seconds of the auction will get you the item. I fancied it for the Cavill Superman figure. I am getting my first headsculpts in next week, and i am compiling costumes for my customs.
But sorry for outbidding you. Might have been worth posting in here asking no-one to bid against you. I would have taken it off my watch list if i has know i was bidding against a fellow board member(I have three of this full figure on the way as it is).

Yes. It's a good thing.
I know loads of people who snipe in with a bid of(for instance), £40, and the item ends at £41. And they complain "I would have paid £41!!!!".
I always say, "why didn't you bid £46.89??!?!?!"
If you get it for £42.25, you'll be laughing.
If you get outbid, then you know the other guy was just willing to pay more than you were.
Set yourself a maximum. If the other guy goes over it, all it cost you was your time.
