I can see your point regarding size difference, but why would you pass on a figure out of loyalty to a company? Just wondering because the EB batman really is an amazing piece and a lot of people, not just you, have passed on him because he's not by HT. Personally, I'm loyal to a quality product, not to a company. I have both the EB and HT versions, and BOTH are amazing figures, yet both are also not perfect. No figure is perfect and DEFINITELY, no company is perfect either. But if a figure is an awesome representation of a character I like, I will consider purchasing him, regardless of what company he is by. Not trying to pick on you, I was just curious b/c I wanted to advise you, or anyone who doesn't have the EB batman b/c he's not a HT product, to seriously reconsider. Now is the best time to get him, while he's still readily available and still at a reasonable price. He compliments the HT batman and looks freaking impressive/badass in hand. Trust me and get him while you still can. You can thank me later :wink1:

I dont feel picked on :lol

Its because I have been collecting Hot toys since 2007, so for me I have a long history with them and their product, I have never once had a QC issue with anything (shocking I know) so I like to stick with what I know and trust... I was considering getting the EB BB but I read about people having issues and at the time I wasn't about to get into a new scale... especially by a company I had no experience with. Im a 1/6 guy at heart but could not pass this guy up, especially being a HT piece

Cool man. I can understand that :) I can see why you'd want to stick with what you're familiar/comfortable with, especially at the prices these figures can go for. But rest assured, you'll be happy with the HT version. He's an awesome figure, no doubt. Not perfect, but no figure ever is :wink1:

But try to branch out and explore other companies if you can. Otherwise, you may end up missing out. Here's a video of what the EB batman can be with proper futzing. This guy's videos are pretty amazing, and are actually what made me pull the trigger on the EB version. And he'll be releasing one for the HT batman soon too :yess: Cheers!

I probably would have ended up with the EB one eventually if HT didn't announce theirs... and now that I have the HT ill never own the EB one as its out of scale... :monkey2

though ill have to agree with you that it is nice, just doesnt fit for my collection

I believe he is saying he ''could care less'' about this figure. :monkey3

:lol I'm American and I never say that, I'm proud to report.

But I thought Rory liked the figure. Still don't know what he meant there. :dunno

In all seriousness I can't be arsed with modding this figure either. To many unfinished projects as it is.

I'll try to make a video tomorrow about everything I would do if I could be "arsed" with it...

Just got back from the Chiller Theatre Expo, and broke this guy out of the packaging immediately. Pleased overall, with very few nitpicks. Luckily, the abs on mine are as flat as a board. Although I can understand folks' disliking the bulk and drapery of the cape, it took all of 30 seconds for me to get the clips seated securely. I may get a replacement down the road, but it will do for now.

The only thing that I'm considering a mod for in the short term is making a bit more clearance on the rubble of the base, so his foot can wedge between the rocks on the one side.

Will try to post some shots later in the week.

I've been collecting Batman since 1964, and my allegiance is to the character, not a company that currently holds the rights to produce the toys. Having both the EB and the HT, I'm pleased to possess excellent representations of both Nolan suits in 1/4 scale. That said, the EB did take some significant modding to get it to where I was as pleased with it as I am the HT right out of the package.

You know Rory means Assed but where he is from he pronounces A.S.S as arse. So you should say you can't be "Assed" and not Arsed with modding this figure either.;)

"Can't be assed" makes no sense as a statement.

But I guess that's how colloquialisms work sometimes. :lol
