Has it been confirmed that Daniel Logan is playing Fett? He is actually looking cool enough to go on playing Fett...

No, but Rick McCallum stated that he wants Logan to play Boba during his intervention in the "Star Wars Reunion 2" in France. So I think it is safe to say he will be Boba Fett in the TV show.

Boba Fett is supposed to have an arc in the show specifically. The show isn't centered around Boba but he will have a storyarc and I wouldn't be surprised if Logan plays him. The question is now much of the ESB/ROTJ Boba that fans have come to know and go all fanboy for will be evident? Will the armor be the same, how early into his bounty hunting career will we see him? What will be interesting is originally Lucas said he'd write all 100 episodes himself, then I read somewhere that different writers are being looked at for different arcs in the stories. If writers other than Lucas pen changes that are approved to characters already established whether or not fans will accept them an canonical additions.

Lucas is coming up with the overall arcs and storyline, but there will be a core staff of writers working on the individual episodes (as is the case with most TV productions).

Mike, where'd you get those numbers from, I'd only read that they were planning 100 or so episodes of CW 3D, I haven't caught anything about how many tentative live episodes would be made.

McCallum has claimed at least 100 hours planned for the Live Action show as well, which would be roughly 4-5 seasons worth of material.

Right. From McCallum, he said that there'd be roughly a 100 hours of material if not slightly more, its only slated to be an hour long show so mathematically I just made the leap to 100 episodes, technically there could be less but either way it'll be around for a while. It'll be done like Soap Operas from around the world where its finite with a beginning and an end. This live action show is really going to be a juggernaut that will help carry the Star Wars franchise forward if it is successful.....

I think thats a great idea to make it like novellas. That way there is a distinct ending that everything is working towards and the writers aren't sitting around scratching their heads where to take the series.

Voyager and Deep Space Nine could have greatly benefited from something like this right from the get go.

If the show is a success and comes to a conclusion while its still ratings competitive there are so many stories in the SW universe and so many timelines that something pre E1 or post E6 can easily be developed without damaging the story of the original series.+

Furthermore, there are many on going series on Univision or Telemundo that while the show lasts for years and years they do certain stories with certain characters that last only months or weeks and then they clean the slate and use new actors and characters with a new storyline.

Imagine a "Star Wars Chronicles" where in the course of a 21-22 show season you have 3 independent 7 episode stories.

Wow...I haven't seen him since ClV...he really is looking very Temura Morrison as he grows up...and yes, dashing enough to portray Fett on his own. Is the casting crew of the show paying attention? Hope so...

And as for the topic here....I'd much rather keep on the movie track with the figures with maybe an occasional EU one thrown in the mix...perhaps one of whoever the "lead" of the show is would be enough...

So, what some of you are saying is... Medicom have already effectively given us the first 1:6 figure of a character from the Live Action show. :monkey5

I can't see LFL or the licensees for that matter skipping out on this opportunity. The Force Unleashed already offers up some interesting characters to add to existing lines if they don't off-shoot and the TV show will no doubtedly fill more in the ranks of Order of the Jedi. Hell, even the suit on Commander Praji could probably be customed into the female Imperial Officer from TFU. My real question is the TV show last time I checked is slated for 2010. Will we get a Boba by then? If so will the Boba from the TV show be the first incarnation of him?

It sounds a little farfetched maybe but look for every licensee to interrupt business as usual for TFU and CW which will push lines out further for companys like SSC who are keeping everything individualized amongst set lines.

SSC can give us Obi-Wan and Anakin (his hair is different in a weird growth kind of way) the original CW costumes were different than the incarnations in the films so their releases would be prudent. Even if these lines only slightly push the licensees off their marks might be enough to push those armored characters slightly further in the future....just some food for thought

I can't see anyone but Hasbro's 3 3/4" figure line halting product based on the films to focus solely on the new shows and games; I just don't see them ever being as big, and considering people's complaints about acting in the PT with some fairly hefty names in hollywood, just imagine the TV actor quality? They'll all give some attention, but people like SSC and Gentle Giant will likely keep it to a small offering and continue to roll in the success of Saga based product.

That's not necessarily written in stone. Some of the acting on shows like "Heroes" >>> the prequels. (Note: I said "some", not all.) :lol

Your point was that important huh? :lol

Don't discredit the show before its aired, you might see that the shows are filled with really great undiscovered talent and then all of sudden it overshadows the film releases, remember essentially its all a prequel, the show and the films and the cartoon, they are all saga based from a certain point of view. Hasbro is the only one who looks like they'd do that because they off shoot their lines so much its uncanny. GG and SSC for example have set lines or in GG's case just releases where these entries really do push release possibilities forward. Even if they offered up two new SW figures a quarter, a total of 8 characters? Two entries from CW, TFU or the TV show pushes to potential characters down the totem pole. LFL will push these releases with a force (pardon the pun) and I guarantee you'll see things effected.

I personally can see myself being willing to buy a few more figures per year when SW is in full marketing swing and there is a product being served via either TV or movies.

So if people are willing to buy more then I can see companies like SSC being willing to produce more, therefore their normally scheduled stuff does not necessarilly have to be delayed.
