$30 on a $250 figure isn't bad a for a chip, but $30 on $500 figure on damage multiple areas of the figure, and untility belt, AND EMP gun... that's an insult.

Just saying, but I have OCD with these figures, and what happened to you would bug the living **** out of me. IMO I would return the whole figure to SSC and demand a full refund/including shipping and then just pick up a regular version from somewhere else in the next month. Unless the Exclusive is a must have, I don't see the point in an empty cowl/ and fancy sticker on the box would justify the enormous price! Just saying!

I guess I'm in the minority. But to me the EB batman is kinda boring looking. Its ok overall because of the good face sculpts. But the BB suit does nothing for me. There is really nothing about it that makes it pop the way the DK suit does. Just my opinion anyway. I mean Chris Nolan didn't even like the begins suit. Thats why he changed it. Lol

I agree with you 100%. I'm sure in hand the EB Batman is a very nice fig but I totally dislike it because of the suit. Like you said, the BB suit is very plain looking and its nothing compared to the TDK and TDKR suits.

Whenever I watch Batman Begins. I always think that he should have left the suit the color it was when Fox first gives it to him. Instead of painting it all flat black like he does in the movie. Looked alot better imo.

To me, its not only the color...the fact that is sort of smooth all over is what bothers me. TDK and TDKR just have so much more going on, everything is just so much more defined.

I understand and not trying to condescend but there's no guarantee i will find even a regular version at retail. I don't think it's best i get a refund for MSRP and have to pay crazy prices on ebay for the regular. I need to wait and see when the regulars ship; that will seal my fate!

Ok so here's what I did.. Enterbay Batman is boxed (not happy about it). He's gonna take a rest for a while until I can figure out (no pun intended) where to put him. Couldn't have HT Batman out in the open since it collects dust and the boots really attracts it and it's hard to remove. But it worked out pretty great having him boxed. Because I realized I could use the EB cape for the QS001, and I must say it looks great! The material isn't that stiff/thick like the stock cape or the velvet capes. It really hangs nicely and isn't that large either. It does look "fluffy" up close but from normal viewing distance it looks flat and nice (although I was kinda lazy when posing the cape).

Oh and a comparison pic of the bank robber mask...

The EB cape does look good on it. The only real problem with it IMHO is it's not dark enough...Lance's cape is a really nice deep black.

Agreed. But it's dark enough for me. I just couldn't stand the stock cape so this will work for now.

As much as Lance's capes are the ****, I picked up an EB one on ebay for $10. I'll dye it, if it bothers me that much.

Actually having the gauntlet lowered puts the elbow guard right on where the elbow is. I don't see any big gap.

Yeah, it's not looking unnatural to me either, but I'll make a final judgment call when I see it in hand.

I thought it looked like the gauntlets are further down the arm. I know there are gaps on the real suit, but it's so skintight compared to the arms on this that it's a completely different deal. It just changes the arm shape, I guess. It makes the gauntlets look a little short IMO. I felt the same when I did it to my 1/6th. But it's more noticible here. Each to their own. But I do hate the gauntlet straps. The fists are a bit on the small side already though. Hmmmm.....

The more I see of this thing the less I'm impressed by it. The flat traps, the pinhead & the skinny neck really bug the crap out of me. No one this side of Phil Jackson is built like that. If I can't make it look better I'll probably return it. It's easy to be wowed by the complexity of the suit compared to the EB, but to me it just looks like a giant DX12 with only minor improvements. Yes, the face plates are way better (but that's not saying much because they were pretty lousy), but the eyes still look buggy to me, the gloves look bad, the cowl is too narrow, the knee pads are way off, the stock cape looks to be made of the same stiff material (although I did get a Lance cape today)...for the price it's not blowing my skirt up. The EB just looks better proportioned overall & looks like a shrunken Batman where the HT looks like a blown up DX 12 toy. We'll see when mine shows up Wednesday.

so SS just responded to me, already by the way which is nice. They can only offer me $30 credit or $20 partial refund. THIS IS HORRIBLE!!!!!! Now, being that I am OCD, i want to buy another one (regular at this point) and hope he comes mint. Which is having me sell my second DX12 to help fund that. Now i put myself on the regular waitlist (doubt i'll have a chance) in hopes to secure a second and hpoefully flawless figure. I think for the damage on mine, $30 is an insult. Only time will though. At least i know my options but a full return isn't one of them since i NEED to have him in my collection. THIS IS SO DAMN FRUSTRATING AND I'M CAN ONLY HOPE I SCORE A WAITLIST REGULAR AND NOT HAVE TO PAY INFLATED PRICES!!!!! (vent over.....for NOW)!

Take a breath and calm down man, it's going to be okay.

Your figure really isn't that bad looking and I am sure there will be a lot of figures that will have similar markings on the suit. That being said I understand you are OCD and you will never accept the figure you have and will buy a new one regardless.

List that sucker on Ebay tonight. Keep the exclusive Cowl and sell Batman as is. Someone will pay what you paid at retail, guaranteed. Get yourself on the wait list for the regular and check BBTS daily. When the regular is released, people will be cancelling left and right. They always do with expensive items like this.

Worst case scenario, you get all of your money back (maybe more) and you don't have this figure. Personally I'd opt for that over having one knowing I paid $500 for it and having these flaws seer into my eyeballs every time I walk by it slowly driving me insane.

Yeah I did on the EB.... That was easy but my concern with this one is if you build up the traps then the neck hole on the suit will widen and not fit snug to the neck post.
