That house is ugly. Crappy. I do not like it. Horrible. Awful.

I say this when actually I mean the exact opposite. Consider me jealous. I live in a 800 sq foot house. lol It's been fixed up, and looks nice... but your house makes mine look like the guest house. lol

welcome to Elm St. :wave

i kid, congratulations. :]

Now we know what their house is like, lets partay!!!

Seems like their house is big enough to hold enough of the Freaks here. hehe

We move in 2.5 weeks. I am getting really, really excited! Just wanted to share one more photo and it's a photo of a project I will start on...the stairs. The stuff in the photo is the sellers since we haven't moved in yet. On the stairs that art will be removed and I'll be putting up Ken Taylor's Man of Steel.

We bought a washer/dryer yesterday. First big purchase for the home. :rock

It's been a long countdown I'm sure.

Consider painting the walls too, instead of leaving them white.
The entire interior will look so much better when you do.

Most of our interior is actually already painted other colors. That white wall is one of the only white walls in the house. :D However, we of course plan to paint. I'm a fabulous designer. Our place is gonna look awesome!!! :rock

Thanks DS. :1-1:

White walls make the room brighter and easier to see using less electricity for lighting. Most museums are painted very light colors for this reason. Also, white is a neutral color that clashes the least with different colored art.

It is best to paint most of a house white or at least very light colors, except for the bedroom, which can be blue, since it is such a restful color, and you will have the lights out when it is used for it's most important purpose.
Pink is best saved for the "entertainment" bedroom.

Your new house looks awesome! Congrats!!! :D

Thank you, and thank all.

It's best to paint a house any color you wish because it's your house. Express yourself.

That's the new quote! ;)
