I have actually yet to receive anything broken yet and have been very lucky so far. But I know of course that it will happen sometime based on the amount of reports here, and am not looking forward to go through the hassle, especially living abroad. But on the positive side when it actually happens, better to arrive broken from Sideshow than if you've bought it through eBay or something..my worst fear.

Yeah, bought one from a guy on the bay and was scared until I opened the box. But this guy I used was top notch. He even double boxed it for me with popcorn surround so it was floating on a cloud all the way to my doorstep. I was willing to pay extra for double box so it made it to me one piece.

Yes, happened a few years back. The guy was told to destroy it by SS for a replacement, so he staged it as an angry girlfriend trashing it.

Yeah, I figured it can be an accessory. Put a few of 3PO's parts in a bag, with his leg hanging out and his head at the top, throw it on Chewie's back and you've got yourself a Cloud City Chewie.

You guys think this worth the $750 they asking for? I receive mine and I think they look beautiful, but I'm really sad with the plastic R2-D2 it really feels like a toy not a $750 statue. I really don't know what to do if to send it back or keep it. What you guys think. I guess is a lot of money. But is really eye catching beautiful piece

If it helps, consider for a moment how much Hot Toys might charge for a lighted 1/6th R2-D2.

Then consider how much they might charge for a lighted 1/4 R2-D2 with a worldwide ES of 200 labeled as a "ToyFair Exclusive".

Honestly though, if I had a defective 3PO, and Sideshow asked me to destroy it, that's what I would do. I think someone will.

Just got mine and geezes these are beautiful and you guys are nutts LOL ok from my standpoint at least
R2 is really nice and has good weight, C-3PO is crazy heavy and that base is for weightlifting!!!
oh and those lights .................. hmmmmmmmmmmm ............... nice

man the ultimate droids and everything else just belongs in trash (well going to use my medi for sound ) this really is a slap in my face as to how anyone incl myself could have accepted the off-scale-ness of the medi R2 w the C3PO!!!!!
