but I feel they are over pricing it.. im looking to spend 200-215

Does BBTS do free shipping to the States? Either way, I don't think they're really overpricing it. I mean, it's sold out pretty much everywhere, and was $194.99 before it sold out everywhere...so while it's a jump of $45, it's doubtful -- unless Sideshow converts -- that you'll spend the original price for one of these (which is what you're looking for.) If you don't want to wait for the SS conversion, I'd go with BBTS and breathe easy knowing you have one of the 15 left on the site.

Also, at least with BBTS you know you're getting the item...through Ebay, well, that's a hassle and a half, and who knows what you could end up with just to save $20.

I got on the waitlist for this figure a few weeks back...it converted last week.should arrive here in OZ tuesday.
Woooo and hooooo.lol

Excellent info thank you so much, one last thing please, what way we should rotate the goggles? some have posted to the front and some others that
to the back, but actually is confusing. Thank you so much.

You see how the mask is in that picture, facing to the left. The goggles move in a clock-wise direction so that they are pointing straight upward.

Similarly, the lenses themselves should also be rotated in a clock-wise direction (instead of counter-clockwise), so that they are upside-down and make the "cat ears."

Also, I advise dunking the mask in hot (nearly boiling) water, and slowly making the adjustments, especially if the joints are stiff. Do it a little bit at a time - dunk, then rotate, dunk, then rotate - and you should be good.

BBTS is overpricing. This is not an old, rare item - it's brand new, just recently released. They're behaving like scalpers and taking advantage of the situation, not behaving as a typical retailer should.

The $200 price already includes a markup, they don't need an additional $45 to justify their bottom line.

They marked it up more than that, because when I placed my preorder with them last year, it was for $179.99 plus shipping.

:thud: Those lips, probably would look weird with the mask on, :cuckoo:

Put white paint on it..not good, If I had purchased this sculpt, first thing I would do is cover the lip lines with a flesh wash or drybrush. Does anyone notice that her nose looks bizarre in this shot as well. Maybe it's just the lighting.

Too much with the lips and the weird nose reminds me of

I was going to say exactly the same thing.

The mouth looks like Joker a little bit. Doesn't look like a normal mouth.

Kind of looks like the Joker did her make up :lol:lol

Another great point..

Yeah they tend to discount a bit to drum up pre orders, what they should do is just offer it for retail at pre order then leave it that way till it sells out

No need to be nasty lads.
We all have to start somewhere, and a smaller display might just mean a more discerning collector.
My collection has relevance to me, but might hold no relevance to anyone else.

I'll add that its not the size that counts but how you use it.. :monkey3

At this point, I actually envy people with sparse collections. It gives the figures more importance when you can focus on a few. I am now so covered in hoarders-level displays of plastic figures crowded together, that it's difficult to admire any one figure at all any more.

Lol. That's a very astute observation.
Can you take a pic of your collection and fit it all in the frame of one photograph?
If not, you *may* have a problem, lol.

I can't fit it into several photographs. I definitely have a problem!

It's worrying that there are 42 pages of stuff there.
I have five detolfs that all my stuff is in.
Other than two extra MKVII's, a Rescue Cap, Black Widow, Coulson and Loki all sealed in their shippers in the cupboard, all my stuff is in five detolfs and i can get them all in one image.
You Sir, need help.
:rotfl

if you ever get rid of a mk 7 keep me in mind... :monkey3

I know you probably have a project in the works or something :lol

I am having difficulty communicating this point... The ankle design on this and the DX11 are literally ruining this hobby for me... to the extent that I almost don't want to collect anymore. :(

Lol! I used to have quite a bit more, including some nice statues, but had some money issues in the past couple years and had to let them go. Took weird photos cause apartment has no lighting. Moving next month to a more well lit apartment, saving money, hopefully can get better looking collection at that point. However, I have learned to be a more discerning collector. Don't want to keep spending all my free money on my collection. It would be nice too though lol.

Lol. NOW you tell me, after i pay you for a MKVI.
Actually i was planning to do a fully Battle Damaged MKVII with all the parts the BD one doesn't have.
I was also going to have one with my Avengers display and one in the HOA too.
but i have other ideas too.
And i don't want to get rid of those things right now.
