It's definitely long. I agree with that. My biggest gripe is the random 2 - 3 episode fillers that come out of left field, right in the middle of a story arc. No warning. No nothing. Then I sit there wondering if I missed 10 episodes of so.

I just started watching a show called 'Sword Art Online'. Very cool stuff. Reminds me a lot like .Hack.
The animation is good (not great, IMO), but it's got my interest. Anyone else see this one yet? Apparently only 25 episodes, so I'll definitely invest in this one.

I liked it. The episode got down to business pretty quick. Not much BS at all. Definitely check it out.

Bleach is quickly rising up my ranks of favorite animes of all-time. The show continues to get better and better and better. Just saw the end of the Ichigo/Aizen battle....

Naruto has fillers but the manga is still ongoing and thats the reason why its dragging. Anime that have a ended manga or a manga that's about to end do much better.

It's a lot darker than I expected. Not sure what to think, other than it's definitely clever.
The original is great but the sequel is kinda of meh
Its great show the first arc is awesome the second lets just say not good as the first.

I'm on episode 5 and it's not my kind of show, but for some reason, I want to watch more.
It's a little too dark for me, and yet I keep clicking 'next episode.'Is there any OVAs/movies for this series or is it just the series run?

I agree, the first half is absolutely brilliant stuff. The second half isn't as solid but the ending is well executed. I'd recommend another anime called Mirai Nikki if you're into Death Note as far as suspense goes.
Another anime I wholeheartedly recommend is Hunter x Hunter if anyone is into shonen like DBZ, Naruto, or Yu Yu Hakusho. Great, smart writing, character development, and action. The current Chimera Ant arc is just freaking insane!
