Ill admit they r growing on me despite the plastic. I do like them but not at 750

I am so with you...

My local store will get them in.. they have a 20% birthday coupon when you purchase in your month of birth.. mine is august.. that would be something I might going to look into...

as much as I love these figures, I have to say that Sideshow dropped the ball on the bases of the exclusives.

Like someone said before, you have to place R2 a lot towards C-3PO if you want to have them in a classic pose. But then it looks off since he's partially over the edge of his own base.

That was me that said that about having R2 off his base just to achieve that classic pose...is a shame but I still prefer the EX to the Reg all day long. It's how i love to see the droids!!! Ever since seeing the shiny kotobukiya droids I've always wanted the shiny version...

Looks very nice. I'm on the opposite end. To me the droids were always dirty and banged up, so that version called to me. I think we all win with this PF.

Well, unless you didn't get the shiny ones when you could at PO. Now you have to get them WAY Way above retail:horror

True. Kind of shady for SS to pull a 200 ES out of thin air with two of the most iconic characters of all time. However, I cancelled my Ex to get the regular. So I turned some waitlister into an owner, I did my part. :lol

I watched them count down too and had every opportunity to snag a set, but I couldn't pull the trigger. I loved them too much side by side on the Tatooine base to spend 750 bones on an ES shiny or not.

You both will be very happy with your decision. Congrats!

Yeah I am shocked that the EX did not get an extra base or something. It's one of the main reason I cancelled my waitlist. For me I got to have the droids close. Plus a ruffed up R2 is the only way to go in my book.

I feel bad for those who got stuck with the Prequel trilogy droids ;) ;)

Yes Original trilogy is the only way to go (;) at Roberto again)

Yeah I'm definitely loving the reg more for these dudes. The base and weathering just brings them to life.
