yeah, um, i'm gonna have to get this. I've been waiting for one single ultimate BL piece to add to my collection, and I think this might be that one piece. beautiful, beautiful piece!

Not only his eyes are off. His face should be slimmer too because he was really thin in game of death. I'm gonna pass because it's just too big for me. EB's 1/4 bruce lee has still the best likeness in the market imo.

Must get !!!!! It's good enough for me, and 1/3 for $600??? It's a steal compare to any 1/3 statues.

They should have this next to a 1/6 and 1/4 Lee so we can get a better idea of size.

And there hasn't been much talk of the base yet. The base is AMAZING!

I think for $600 its a no brainer for me really ....

I'm a Jackie Chan guy myself
I so want an accurate figure/statue/sculpt of this guy.
Not saying you are wrong can you explain why you think the WOTD EB one is better because I honestly can't see it?
You might have already explained it yourself here (kinda):
You are not crazy both this sculpt and the Enterbay one sculpted by Scuderia have their faults and strengths. However, IMO the EB one doesn't look much like Bruce Lee as it has beady eyes and a very wide smooth face with lack of bone structure. Nevertheless, this one is not exactly a home run either as the chin is too long and the face looks too masculine but you can tell it is Bruce, unlike EBs, which looks like the GOD stunt double IMO. However, on certain angles Scuderia's one is practically dead on (Arnies is never dead on from any angle) but from front on I see no resemblance . So like I said before both have their strengths and weaknesses.
I was looking at my WotD figure at different angles, & comparing it to these 'Game Of Death' pics. I guess, like you said, when the WotD sculpt hits that certain sweet spot in angle & lighting, this 'Game Of Death' sculpt doesn't have a pic that I see better, where likeness is concerned. Well, that's the opinion I'm throwing out there today, not sure how I'm going to feel tomorrow :lol

It's not 100% accurate, but it is pretty impressive. One thing that EB hasn't exactly got right (to me), in the production runs on their last few Bruce Lee collectibles, are the eyebrows. They seem too light, or not thick enough or something. Brings the likeness down I think.

It seems normal for peeps to have such varying opinions with Bruce Lee collectibles. Like here:
I honestly don't understand how anyone could think the ETD Hot Toys looks like Bruce Lee. Well... I guess the non screaming one looks a bit like Bruce Lee.
Where we again disagree. I actually think the battle damaged HT sculpt is the better of the set :D

With all that said though. If I relax my focus on likeness, I think for now, this might be the best mass produced Bruce Lee collectible so far. I think the full body pic looks so good.

I want this because I think it would be an impressive display piece, despite any likeness issues I might have. But I think I don't want to want it :lol :gah:

The Enterbay one does have really thin eyebrows

haha i don't see the similarities. I think the eyes are the most important part of a headsculpt and this statue doesn't have that down.

the head is terrible..but that is not the only thing that really ticks me off about this statue...also..pose is boring..base is too big..

blitzway expects us to drop $699 in a weeks notice right in the middle of SDCC, on a statue that is not even spot on in likeness but and they also don't even offer a payment plan or pre-order deposit only...

really get over yourselves blitzway with this try hard bruce lee statue

PASS!!

You seem very upset by all this....

:exactly:

Chill Great Pheidias, the one that cost $699 is the gold one. I am not interested in getting that anyway. The regular one is $599 which I agree with everyone it is a steal!

You might be right but nonetheless, neither sculpt from that HT ETD set impresses me.

Sounds like you can't decide, one second it is the blitzway next second it is EBs 1/4WOD. Now it is back to Blitzways again, can't say I blame you as both are great sculpts in their own way. ;)

Personally can't see any likeness on most front shots of the WOTDEB1/4 but I am not saying there is no likeness, I just can't see it, except in this pic below.

This would look great in any Bruce Lee collection...I think the likeness is definitely there, although I expected it to be better when Arnie Kim is involved. I want to get it but the shipping to Australia is going to cost a fortune! It's 14kg!

Should I get this or wait till Enterbay shows prototype for 1/4 Bruce Lee due in November? Tough choice....

Depends if you prefer figures to statues. Some people are totally against statues so they won't buy this. If you would rather a figure then I would wait for Enterbay to produce their Bruce Lee. :wink1:

I'm ok with both figures and statues. The sheer size of this 1/3 statue is making me want to buy it. However if it's sold out by the time Enterbay announce their next 1/4 Bruce Lee I'd be disappointed. I believe their 1/6 Big Boss will come out before the 1/4 one anyway.
