Didn't expect it, but after I posted my Pacific Rim review link on Twitter yesterday, Ron Perlman followed me.

And earlier today I was chatting about the 3D post-conversion with others on Twitter. Ron Perlman didn't retweet me but re-posted my exact tweet about 30 mins ago .

I swear that his daughter was on shh. I was looking for the song at the end of pacific rim and didn't know the name. I asked on shh what the song was and somebody with the name drifter told me the song . the song name is drift by Blake Perelman . I couldn't find the song anywhere it wasn't on iTunes or YouTube , nothing. so then I found it odd that this one person with 1 post and name of the song in his or her username would know it. The song is unknown everywhere and not even on the soundtrack. It must of been a big coincidence .

Been avoiding this thread for the past few days for obvious reasons, I'm down to an hour and a half wait. My wife is more into Nicholas Sparks crap than comic/sci-fi, but even she is hyped up for this, and she has seen nothing except the one trailer before MoS.

I've only had one friend thats already seen this and he absolutely loved it, but I told him to shut up immediately.

Everyone else I know has been going to see Throw up 2. Apparently I need friends with better tastes.

Man I wish they'd release that song. . Yea it may of been her it may not, why would someone join a forum just to answer a question? With the same name of the song and everything . I wouldn't be surprised if it was her or someone else.

Watch it for the second time today. Still amazing!

I don't understand how people can call the Kaiju genric and difficult to differentiate. All of them looked unique to me and menacing in their own way. I loved their design and shear size.

The Hong Kong fight scene is easily one of the best action sequences I've ever seen on the big screen. Shear awesomeness! And the sword! Wicked!

Oh, everyone applauded at the end again eventhough it was only partially filled

OMG, just came back from it. I still cant believe this is the same Del Toro that did Pan's Labyrinth and the Devils Backbone that made this giant turd of a movie. **** this was bad, and I mean Bayformers bad.Worst movie I saw this year. That asian girl was such a bad actor, its unbelievable!!! Characters were bland, story was cliché and a big yawn. There was 7 people in the whole cinema and they all looked bored as hell. Not even a good popcorn flick. Sorry for those who like that dumb movie, i guess im looking for a bit more in the entertainment and smarts department when im at the movies.

GDT you sold out and this movie is a T.T. ( Total Turd). Even World War Z was better than this. 1/10 No substance.

Nice review Shai, you were indeed looking for something in the smarts department while this movie had none of them. BTW you mentioned the characters and story, but what about those Jagaer vs Kaiju scenes, did you happen to notice that by any chance and enjoy them at least?
