Re: NBA 2012-2013

Most great players don't, MJ came back and played for the Wizards for crying out loud. :lol

Yeah, but he was still pretty darn good even then. Made the All-Star game and got 40/50 a couple of times. Not bad for a guy basically at 40.

It was a nightmare to watch in person though, just the general decline of his skills.....you could just see on his face his body couldn't do what his mind/body wanted.

It wouldn't say that it was a nightmare. You knew he was at the end but most nights he was still pretty solid. His numbers for a guy at the end were pretty good especially for a guard.

ramonashelburne
Lakers source in the meeting with Howard said he seemed to have made up his mind then. Was "emotionless" and wouldnt look them in eye

that's why kobe pulled him aside and challenged the puss

HAHAHA well he was only there for a year. No real emotional ties to the team, city, players, and definitely not the coach.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

trust me laker fans you dont want Howard one of the biggest pussies ever...he did you guys a favor. You'll suffer for a year but will be better off in the long run...just watch and enjoy the drama unfold in Houston now :lol

Re: NBA 2012-2013

The bright side is we don't have to listen to a guy whine about wanting the ball who's not great with it in his hands. Lol. Next years gunna be painful.

Naw, they needed Dwight because now they can't sign anyone else to take his spot. And Earl Clark is gone. Lakers are done for the next few years now.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

clearly you don't understand the lakers have nothing on the books after this season in a great free agent class. it all goes away after this season, and by design.

This :exactly:

As dumb as Lakers look at times, I believe there is a method to their madness......

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Next summer should be interesting. I know for reading stuff on the Bulls it's one of the reasons they haven't done anything with Boozer and haven't extended Deng yet.

Yeah but Kobe only has a few years left. And I don't think the Lakers are gonna just tank the season away. There is an answer though. Amnesty MWP. But trust me I understand what the Lakers are doing. They've talked about it since the day the Decision was made. And they knew the Summer of 2014 was coming.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Howard will regret this, Houston will regret this.

Pretty bummed right now.
