Wonder if that kills the family plan stuff. I have to imagine yes, which sucks.

my mind is like wow now ..

from the "Stick with the 360" attitude to a full 180 turn .

lack of preorders maybe? .. they seemed stubborn with their original plans

I would guess this required agreements again from MS and the publishers they had partnered with and wasn't something that could just be changed without discussion.

I'd say lack of preorders and 99% of the Internet and gamers tearing them a new *******. Money talks and when you have PS4 preorders sold out almost everywhere and yet you can walk into any store and preorder a Xbox one, it's time to revisit those policies.

I knew this was going to happen almost as soon as they announced it, I just didn't expect it so soon. I thought for sure that it would happen down the road closer to launch or after it.

What were those morons thinking in the first place?

Next get rid of that Kinect garbage.

LOL...maybe theyre not so stupid after all. Possibly the biggest "duh!" of all time. I'm back in now. I'll get to have the best of both worlds. Gamers finally stood up to this BS and made a change happen. Respect.

Big difference, boss. This One fiasco was the dumbest move I've ever seen by a console maker. If they'd gone through with it, it would make them complete freaking idiots. Backing down shows there's still some common sense left over there somewhere.

What's to stop them from implementing the check in later?

It will need a ton to get me to buy this i have to be convinced .

There would need to be an earth-shattering exclusive for me to even ponder the idea of getting it.

They also took the Start button out of Windows for Windows 8...then brought it back. Does their management even know what they are doing?
