The exclusive version that's limited to 175 and comes with the additional skull piece hasn't sold out yet. You can still pre-order it. I'm not sure if it'll sell out before it comes in stock or not. I sort of doubt it as the Dinosauria series seems to sell a little slowly compared to a lot of the other stuff. After that, they'll sell a regular version without a skull piece. You can also get this regular version from other online retailers at a slightly reduced rate as well. You might also want to keep in mind that you can pre-order it now from Sideshow with the flexpay option and spread the payments out over a few months.

Well I caved :yess: and had a discount coupon so I back ordered the Dilophosaurs, always loved this one from the movie. Thanks for the heads up Ben, quick question. How often they do a release in this line??

It's slowed down a bit lately win something around 1-2 releases a year. It seemed more frequent back when the line first started.

Hello everyone. I want to buy T-Rex Maquette from Sideshow. Does anyone sell this statue? If so please give me a private message.

I saw the bronze edition on ebay last weekend with a buy it now price of $300. I think the seller pulled the auction, but you never know. He might put it back up again. That is, if you're looking for that version. I personally just want the color version.

Hello guys. I would like very much to see this year at SDCC a table full of dinosaurs like in 2010: (I would love to see several species of dinosaurs. If they launch in a year a diorama, and a maquette, I would be most happy:yess: . I love Diloposaurus maquette which will be launched this summer, but I want to see a ferocious carnivore:pray:. What dinosaurs, we should necessarily see in the near future:cuckoo:? you think that Sideshow will exhibit at SDCC 2013, a table with dinosaurs?:cuckoo:;)

They really look great altogether. I still need that Euoplocephalus maquette :(

Anyways, I pre-ordered the Dilophosaurus maquette (which seems to be a bit too expensive considering its size)...

That's a beautiful display. I wish I had an awesome set of cases like that for mine.

I just picked up the Allosaurus vs. Camarasaurus diorama at the post office today. I think it's my favorite that I currently own. I'm missing a few key pieces, the Carnotaurus especially since it's my favorite dinosaur, but I've managed to collect quite a few of this in a relatively short amount of time.

Took a couple of pics. Sorry for the crappy quality and the floor shot. I can't really take very good pics of them where they're currently displayed high up.

Been looking into this line by Sideshow for a while. It's pretty amazing line and really the one I missed out on that i'm upset about is the Carnotaurus Maquette. One of my favorite Dinosaurs. My second favorite Dino's is the Dilophosaurus. Really debating to pick this up. I have a Sideshow Original coupon of 10% off to use and I don't know what to use it on. Was thinking the Frozen Dead PF but want to try something different so may pick this up. Really looks awesome. :)

Hello Boba Ben. I am so happy for you that you managed to add dinosaurs to your collection. Believe me is the most fascinating collection of Sideshow Collectibles. I spoke with Sideshow Collectibles, and even they said that this is their favorite line. Congratulations for Allo vs camaro. An extremely rare diorama.:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:wave

I feel the same about Carnotaurus. It's my absolute favorite dinosaur. I used to have a Carnotaurus Maquette straight from Sideshow, but I found that it had a hold under the arm months after I got it, which was after the return period for Sideshow, so I sold it here at a discount rate planning on buying a new one, but never got around to it. Now they're pretty impossible to find.

I actually went up to a small dinosaur museum up in Kenosha, WI. yesterday to see their mounted Carnotaurus skeleton. It was pretty amazing.

Thanks. I really lucked out finding the Allosaurus vs. Camarasaurus. It hardly ever shows up on ebay, especially not for a reasonable price. I still haven't obtained some of my absolute favorite pieces in the line like the Carnotaurus, T-Rex vs. Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus but hopefully I'll luck out and find those one day.

Oh, and to keep this dilophosaurus related, they also had this big model standing outside of the museum.

Pretty awesome trip there! Been to tons of Dinosaur Museums and seen so much. Like I said one of my favorites and sucks I missed out on the Maquette. Oh well. May get the Dilophosaurus Maquette using my 10% off but not very sure still. I'll wait a little bit before I make a decision. Need to use it soon though or it'll expire.

I recommend going to ebay UK for some of these pieces. I really like most of the pieces of this line. The Dilophosaurus looks small but appears to be packed with detail. Love the red hue on the head of one of them.

Hopefully smaller pieces and higher prices aren't a trend. I kept trying to tell myself that it's because it features two animals ..but then we've had that already and even three for less. So I'm unsure just why the price hike.
