Yeah, thats why I prefer my PFs be clothed if at all possible so it's one less thing they can screw up.

I'm looking at the bases some people have and I've noticed that some bases have spots of splotchy shiny black paint, i.e., look at pic below. At first glance, it looks like a touch up (a poor one, at that). However, I think it's supposed to look like wet swamp mud or something to that nature. Thoughts?

And here are the paint errors for mine:
-My base has a weird black mark on it, but whatever. It's also odd that the box marked my edition number P60/1500, but the base says 960/1500. How do you f' up a 9 and a P?
-A lot of fine edge work was messed up. The hair is pretty jarring because of the contrasting skin tone and red paint, so the missed areas look like swollen flesh parts. But what's odd is that not all of my statue has the leaf errors. The right side of her stomach is perfect where as the left is messed up.
-The vines and the boots are what they are, not bad but not great.
Overall, an A. I think that the demo statue was too perfect that no matter what fans weren't going to get anything near close to it. But then you start adding up all of these paint flubs and errors and it just takes away from what should have been another home run for the D.C line...
that is a pretty bad paint job, why settle for less than perfect? If you, me...we, accept mediocre , mediocre is what we will get....IMHO

I agree, it didn't even dawn on me until last week that IVY was all sculpt and no fabric. Kinda sucks but I can see why they had to go this route.
I agree man, fully sculpted is the only way to go on IVY. Just sucks that a chinese kid drinking monsters all night are painting your statue.

Well I got Ivy today and is perfect except for a large paint bleed where the hair meets the neck...sideshow contacted

Just unboxed my ex. Holy crap. One of the best female PFs made by SSC. Just fantastic. Great paint application, great sculpt, great packing... the eyes too are perfect. My wife loves it.
The foot of Ivy isn't sitting flush with the base. Anyone else have this issue?
Yup. I made sure all of the pegs were in the holes and then pushed down really hard and slowly.

Alright...brb...going to try. Would you advise putting force on the entire body or just the one foot that needs to go in.

You know, I also just noticed that even though I bought the Exclusive edition and it's noted on the brown shipping box as so that I didn't get a gold sticker on the art box =/
