Woooh!:panic: She arrived today an is looking damn fine!
Absolutely love this piece. It's phenomenal and has risen to the number 2 spot on my top 10 favourite PF's :yess:

Pics going up on the facebook tomorrow

I just do not understand why when someone posts that they're happy with the way their statue turned out, and they don't notice any flaws, that members here feel the need to jump in and point out all the things they see wrong. Can you not just let someone enjoy their statue?

:goodpost: I agree. It really goes to show you some people (not singling anyone out) are not happy unless they're complaining or being negative towards someone's happy purchase.

Yep! I experience this in life to, not just on the boards.

"Don't you have xxx-product?"

"Yes"

"Man that product sucks I like my yyy-product better."

Received my Regular today as well. She looks great :clap No real problems that would make me disappointed at all :yess:

With those mentioned paint work, you can hardly see it with the naked eye. Unless you look at it with a magnifying glass or macro lens zoomed in, it's fine.

She is very voluptuous and photogenic :)

I didn't take much photos since my DSLR camera battery is charging. Just snapped a few with my crappy camera phone.

She is taller than the Black Widow Scarlett Johansson PF by like 2 inches due to the difference in the height of the 2 bases.

Best of all, didn't have to pay duty or taxes :yess:

Wow! Sound like she's a very sexy statue! Can't wait to get her. I know everyone is not a fan of the QC for spider woman. But with the QC aside does ivy's curves match up to sw? This looks like a winner here so I would be shocked if ivy is even better than my sw as far as curves go. This DC line is looking great so far! Harley looks like a home run as well. SS will need to improve the marvel lines even more to catch up.

Agreed
Yes it could have been better, but how? How can they paint this area without messing up the body paint. As in this case with the hair on mine. It would have taken some extra ordinary paint job and realistically mass produced items just dont.

My Ivy EX just showed up. I am really torn on keeping this one. I'll check her out, but sadly she might be in the for sale thread later tonight.

:dunno why? Is it the paint? Any damage? If you really don't want it then trade it for something you really want.

Anyone know if those of us who ordered a couple of days ago when the first in hand pictures arrived will have to wait for a new batch? I didn't think so (as it still says ETA May on their site) but they have just deducted a deposit for it now.
Quote myself with the notice of my shipping notice. :yess: For anyone else in the same position.

I think there is a way for people to voice their concerns, and not ruin the excitement of those receiving their statue. If there really are issues with a piece, then I count on those folks who have in hand to provide information so that I can make an informed buying decision. I have made comments about why I do not like a piece, or will pass on ordering. However I try to make sure I include a comment stating that I'm happy for those folks who are excited about their statue.

The problem is some folks cannot simply voice a concern over paint application, or issues with the eyes. They turn it into one big rant on the quality of all SS products. "Every SS product has paint issues", "every SS product has googly eyes", Quality control sucks at SS", "SS is trying to screw everyone over", etc... In addition they make a big show out of the fact they are planning to return the piece....as if returning their statue will convince everyone to return their purchase or somehow force SS out of business. It goes beyond simply voicing your concerns on a piece, it becomes a total condemnation of SS. Worse, it looks like you are trying to ruin the everyone's else excitement. Particularly when you feel the need to make multiple posts re-iterating the same points on why you do not like the piece in question.

When it really comes down to it, no matter how perfect a piece is there will always be somebody who is not happy. There always has to be someone who complains about something.. This piece is amazing and a must buy for any Dc fan. Keep up the great work sideshow:clap

Well this is a discussion board and members post their pics for other members to post their opinions about them and such, some just stick to praising no matter what, it can't all be about kissing each others asses.

In conclusion is not about being negative, is about one's point of view on what is seen, perceptions about someone's comment can be negative as well without the comment being negative, members need to stop policing how other member should think and post their thoughts if it stays within forum rules then just let it be.
