what happened in the Harley thread? I have yet to visit it. I get what you say about getting sick of a select few people, however obviously someone, or a few people, wish to interact with those people or they wouldn't constantly be quoted. If no one ever responded they would probably get the hint real quick.

Well two individuals kept going on and on about how Harley: had two big an ES, how SSC customer service sucks, was to expensive with the $10 increase, and how the Ex would be cheaper on EBay in a few months. They quoted a few select Joker PFs that have sold for less then retail (before shipping mind you) on the Bay, and no matter how much people pointed out the flaws in their logic, and tried to council noobs against taking it. They just kept on going on with, well, BS and bad advice. This happened for almost, oh hell I am not sure, at least 100 maybe as much as 150 pages until one of them finally caved and bought Harley after going on for pages and pages about how it finally felt good to "take a stand against SSCs" mistreatment. So people finally just lost it, and after even more USELESS debate (and I admit I contributed a few barbs myself) they closed the thread and rebooted it.

In the end it was a WASTE of a perfectly good conversation based on the very individuals that Josh is talking about just taking the same 3 or four talking points, and going around and around it. People didn't enjoy it they were just feeding the fire and getting more and more annoyed... it was a waste really. In the end I would hate to see this thread go in the same direction.

Hey Spidey do u think someone from SS closed the thread or someone that actually directs the forums here? There was a lot of going on this thread too.

Sideshow is not in control of a thread. The Mods or Dave are in control of if a thread stays open.

I see. The nipples made the statue a bit over the top for me so I didn't order it and didn't bother to visit that thread. Was hoping to have a Gotham Girls display, with this Ivy and the DC Direct Catwoman I just picked up. Might try to snag the DC Direct Harley.

Officially caved in and snatched up Pamela Lillian Isley. Harley would have been lonely without her. Thanks to the people that passed along some good ideas and links to some great dealers!

Well I have no real connection to Harley so she was an easy pass for me. I should have stayed out of the thread, but I kept getting dragged in by my own stupidity to get into it with the two Amigos... Just stupid on my part really.

Congrats Hood.... Glad you are happy with what you found:yess:

Looking forward to the first unboxing video to pop up on youtube this week.

Hey guy's/gal's new here and have a quick question for any of the possible canadian collectors. I've decided/nudged by by wife to order Ivy to go along with her Harley. I have the opportunity to grab one up here north of the border for $400 + shipping. I have ordered a few Ex PF's from sideshow but none have yet to ship. The question I have is, after shipping which i'm going to assume is in the 20 to 30 buck range plus the dreaded duty charge or will it be a better choice to pay the Canadian shop and miss out on the Reward points?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

I received Obi-wan from Sideshow a little while back for the same cost as this statue, and have Ivy showing up Tuesday. The cost of shipping is $25 and I paid Fedex $57 when Obi-wan arrived. So with all that said, you're likely looking at the same price give or take (I'm also in Ontario) that you'd be spending at the place you're looking now.

The main thing to keep in mind is returns! I know a few places in Canada don't always do well with returns. As someone said Superpowercollectibles is a great place and seem to have a solid return policy -- however, they're long sold out of Ivy. If you're thinking of going elsewhere, e-mail them about their return policy beforehand. If you're spending the same amount, you might as well go with Sideshow, who usually seem to be on the ball when it comes to returns for errors. Plus, the shipping only takes 4 days from Sideshow.

Awesome pics! :) Are they both resting on the same level surface?

The first photo I posted, no, I raised her to match the Joker's height. The last 3 photos are at same surface level. She is noticeably shorter than the joker as the Joker's base is taller than her base that and she is probably sculpted a bit shorter than a male figure (tough I did not measure, so don't quote me on the that) hence the difference in height.
