How is this worth 10$ more than Storm Shadow??? Please somebody explain that too me- I mean sure I was easily convinced at spending a few extra bucks on SS vs SE cause it came with an extra HS, that i will most likely sell to offset the price, but this doesn't come with two HS or even more accessories to warrant the price... Was hoping for under 200 but im gonna pass until i see it for cheaper, but then again he wasn't a fav in the movie for me to even wonder why im li'l frazzled now should just be happy I got SS and SE on PO :) :) :) :) :)

Do all HT Arnold figures share the same body? It's strange to think the body is big enough for Arnold, but not The Rock.

Perhaps it has something to do with the character likeness? Especially since this is the first HT Duane Johnson/ROCK figure they ever produced. :dunno

I'm just estatic he's still being made. Sure the body may need a little bulking up for Rock standards, but its still the best figure I've ever seen of him! Too bad he isn't due out until December 2013.... Or in HT's case, most likely February-May 2014. :slap

Well if this uses the DX10 body that one is slighly slimmed down from the Arnold bodies HT previously made to more accurately reflect Arnold in T2 (he was less bulky than in T1). They probably chose that one for its double-jointed elbows.

I'll wait till this goes on overstock clearance. Might get an alternative AA muscular body and display it with the HS for an awesome, "IF YA SMELL..." pose.

I knew Arnold was smaller in later movies, but I didn't know HT designed a different body for him. Thanks for the info :hi5:

now we got some gi joe annoucement, if we dont get a arah roadblock, i might get this one

we'll get a Sideshow Roadblock....they already said they are focusing on him in the group list...and Sideshow's will be better!

Good looking figure but not The Rock and not Roadblock w/o Browning M2.

Mailed and wrote on HT's FB. There's still hope b4 the release.

I think this is more of different parts put together bit the magority being the DX10 body. The arms look like modified Barney Ross forearms with DX10 elbows and biceps. Neck looks like it could be a little thinner than the DX10 but we'll probably be able to tell before once we see the ON.CC pics

Better -- in terms of over-all representation of the ARAH Roadblock, the type that would please the most hardcore ARAH fans -- YES.

In terms of over-all quality as a high-end figure, that we have to wait and see. So far, The 6 Joes I have, while very good, still pale in comparison to the HT figures I've got on the next shelf, and some of these HTs outdate 3 of my Joes as far as year of release is concerned. Not even Zartan can compare, whose paint app is by far SSC's strongest among the Joe releases IMO.

I agree that Hot Toys makes the best 1/6 scale figures in the world but the Sideshow Joe are great aswell.....I disagree on your Zartan statement,he is fantastic and one of Sideshow's best 12" figures

Sideshow's joes are of great quality and I never had any issues with them...

Too bad that the Rock is not Roadblock and the one we get from Sideshow will be the true worthwhile ARAH Roadblock

:) I didn't say that Zartan's bad, did I? He's my favorite among my joes, next to Firefly, because as I said, he's got the best paint app among SSC's Joes so far, IMO (I think the newer Falcon was a step back in the paint department, sadly). It's just that while great, Zartan still pales in comparison to my HTs, even those that were released earlier than Zartan.

That's why I also said that SSC's Roadblock, while definitely better as a representation of the character, still remains to be seen if would be better in terms of over-all quality as a figure, because so far I still find SSC's figures lacking in some departments particularly the paintjob while they are creeping up to HT's prices.

But yes, I love my SSC Joes, and am still looking forward to future releases including Baroness and Destro. :duff
