What's wrong with ordering when you get back home?

SS has an app or mobile site for phones. You can access the full site from the mobile site or just order straight from the mobile one.

I don't think they have a specific app you just go to the site on the phone. I have ordered that way before... its easy.

My mother's appt. has been changed to Friday so I should be fine, but thanks for the suggestions.

@Hologram.....Since we have no idea how many of the exclusive version was made, I don't want to take any chances with it selling out. It probably won't, but believe me, most of the ones whining on here will order it anyway. :lol

Oh I have no doubt about that :lol What else is there to talk about aside from nit picking things here and there about it.

I was just rather surprised you were ordering via phone when you're coming home tomorrow.

I don't think so....

I never new it till now - The ESB lettering are upside-down and mirror-image Hebrew letters.

Actually, it has no meaning.

It's been debated. Some who have translated it have said it makes no sense while others say it comes out to what I posted above.

Surprised that's even there in the first place.

My hubby is a born/raised Israeli. He tried to shuffle the letter around - Nothing. Even if you can put words together, they are meaningless.
The first part: לא יסלחו מעשיו - We are missing a few letters to complete that.
The second part doesn't even makes sense. " Until he merits" ? WTH does that even mean?

Stuff goes deeper than many realize. Anakin came from Anakim (a race of giants/nephilim/fallen angels) George was into all sorts of stuff at the time.

Kinda cool if that saying is true.

Probably until he makes up for his past sins etc. (Vader was a bad bad boy)

Oh, I see.
Still, if translated to Hebrew - Not enough letters on chestbox to complete the phrase, and some letters that are on it are not needed for the translation.

Damn you, George! :)

There's a bit of analysis on the Hebrew characters here:

As for Sideshow's Vader...

All the discussion over the last few days has dampened my enthusiasm. Main issue is the elongated torso, which seems to stem from the shortening of the gorget armour plate, leaving a large area between the chest panel and belt.

Other issues are the price; the light-up features (which I consider to be expensive and unnecessary gimmicks); the crazy base; and the headsculpt which is either a mish-mash, or based on the actor who stood in during the helmet-removal scene in Empire? (I can't remember the name someone quoted some pages ago).

The more I see of this the less I like it. So many small nitpicks that collectively add up to a pass.

Which still doesn't mean I will actually pass, but... I'm definitely disappointed enough to whine about it before I buy it.

This,

SideshowVaderESBROTJ.jpg

looks different to this,

Something is off with the proportions and, as already mentioned, there appears to be two different prototypes shown.

I know what you mean, and so does Sideshow! It'll sell because it's Vader, and many of us want a 1/6 Vader in scale with our other SW figures. We'll buy it because we're weak!

I should pass on this, but I'm sure I'll still be pre-ordering it. With collectors like me it's no wonder these companies don't bother too much with accuracy.

Or... Sideshow will realize they merely put his gorget on back to front and hence placed the chest panel too high. An easy fix! :monkey1

What's with the crinkly jumpsuit? It stands out like a sore thumb. I don't see ESB Vader there at all. Guess my Medi will remain as my definitive version of Vader a while longer possibly....

Probably just a symptom of Sideshow's P.O.S. Prometheus body. I'm sure most people who PO this are going to swap him over to a new body like the KP-02 which will fill out the crinkly licorice pants.
