Really though, ROTJ gets a lot of crap, and if I can complain about something it's that most of the heroes are on Endor for far too long in the film, but Jabba's palace might be one of the top sequences of the entire trilogy, and the final duel is better, drama wise, than any of the other duel scenes from the six films with the exception of Empire.

Plus the surprise of Luke with a green lightsaber. :exactly:

Even though we all had the story book before the movie came out..we all thought it was a misprint.

This is the only cool Ewok. :lecture

No that Is a hot ewok.

That would make an interesting fan edit.

Rotj is a good film but I would agree that the ewok stuff is too long and slows down the film

Yeah, that was damn cool. :exactly:

I still have my story book in my garage... it's falling apart but I can't let it go. :monkey2

I loved that story book. I still remember getting it from Scholastic at school and the long walk home before I could open it up. I am pretty sure that book disintegrated from being opened and poured over too much.

Anyone else remember the Revenge of the Jedi teaser trailer? Dos' were de dayz. :monkey2

*At least I think it was a teaser. The only thing I remember besides the title was a voice saying something about "old friends" and it showed Yoda.

I think Anakin should have been played by a hulking 6 foot six actor and been a unstoppable bad ***, a guy that you were happy was on your side. Then when he turns your are like Oh oh! We're in trouble. He should have destroyed half the droids in Genosis all by himself. They should have shown him doing unbelievable things that left the other Jedi in awe. That way you knew he was the chosen one, not that midichlorian crap!

I always found the guy playing Luke to be unbelievable. He never looked like a guy would have a chance against Vader or the Emperor. He always looked short and insignificant to me. The guy playing Anakin looked the part more than the short guy playing Luke. I guess people are biased in favor of the original trilogy so they over look things.

You were born after 1990. I am sure of it. ;)

..."the guy"... :lol

Height has nothing to do with it. Yoda kicked a$$, and he's very short. Hayden just plain sucked in the role. He was a terrible actor (and so was Jake Lloyd, for that matter). Hamill was MUCH better as an actor. He was supposed to be a whiny little itch in the beginning, then progress throughout. Hayden showed no progression.

I should also point out that Tom Cruise is an extremely short actor, yet he's kicked butt in many films, and I never once questioned it.

I agree that each is entitled to their own opinions, and yes, I'll agree that I am biased toward OT, but there's every reason to be. They were MUCH better films. Thus, in summary, your opinion is wrong. :pfft: :nana:

Story books in general were cool back in the day, but Jedi was a special one.

Yes, yes they were! :hi5: At a local show recently, I bought several of the Star Wars official souvenir guides for the films for a buck each. I'm sure I already own em, but dunno where they are. I just wanted to read them again! They were in good shape, too.
