Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

I've dumped more $$$ into custom projects that took years, some even still pending, and some completely abandoned. Riding out a measly hundred bucks on this is a cakewalk. Especially since the product is actually licensed.

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

I have yet to get a response on my refund I requested so I just sent a follow-up e-mail. Hopefully I will get a response this coming week.

:exactly: In the exact same boat as you. I was sure to express I'll gladly pay $150 when the figure actually releases but I no longer feel like waiting at this point. I will support actual releases, not promises of them.

Perfectly stated. That's my position as well.

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

Well I was going to go for the refund but the card I used then I canceled so I'm guessing I can't get a refund unless I get one through Paypal anybody know if that's possible or will it have to be credited to the card I used

SHS posted this on FB yesterday.

"Hey Creeps!

Would you be interested in a line of life-size CREEPSHOW Busts to be added to the line already in production? It would be a small run but very highly detailed! Real clothing, punched hair, hand painted, signed and numbered. Would be a run of 13 pieces per character.

Just brainstorming to see what else would help raise the money to finish the 1/6th line. Let us know! Also my SHS email crashed the other day. My partner is handling the replies at the moment. I'll have my SHS email back up in a few days. I'm dropping off my dinosaur of a computer off Monday to be fixed. Please be patient!

Thank you!!!"

I pre-ordered when Nathan was announced also, I'll be riding it out!

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

Ok just a quick up-date on my refund. I got and e-mail stating the order was canceled and the refund will take 5 days to process. Kinda sad to see it canceled now, but it is what it is.

I am confident he will deliver Nathan, but this seems like a somewhat inappropriate inquiry at this time. Why would one advertise additional pieces when the first and most anticipated thus far hasn't come to fruition?

Busts that can be made in the studio using small edition sizes (only 13) vs. being farmed out to China. This way the revenue funds the 1/6 Nathan who's stuck in production hell.

Ah, that makes more sense. Didn't realize it was a limited run-type deal.

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

I'm anxious to see which characters he makes bust wise, not so anxious to see the price tag. :(

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

Yep, these are being made with the intent of raising funds to get Nathan produced.

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

If I had to venture a guess on the pricing of the busts considering they're being limited 13 pieces (so far) thus truly being a limited edition . . . I'd say the pricing is going to possibly range from $149.99 to $249.99 MSRP. I realize it's a wide margin, but very small runs with what Dooley is attempting to achieve I believe the pricing will be on the moderate to high end. If more than $249.99 and there are buyers, then hey . . . more power to him.

I wonder if he'll be taking pre-orders first and then creating the busts or have them all produced in hand and then let the ordering begin?

If they're that truly limited and numbered, did he consider going the auction route?

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!!

Uhm, fellas---I got no problem buying something that actually exists. I had funds tied up since day one. 14 months and running. Until Nate actually exists....I would rather buy something else. Like these...

Nate's gonna be a long time coming. These are limited to 50 and 35 castings respectively and go nicely with my vintage kits from the 1970's. They are the same scale and the bases link up. Not everyone's cup of tea---but I couldn't care less. I like 'em.:peace
What're you hollerin' about Skull(?)---you're gettin' a refund too,lol

If Nate is ever released, it wont be a problem shucking out the cash for him. yes---even an additional $50 instead of $98. But if he is gonna be "released" the way Executive Replicas "released" their Vincent Price figure: I dont want my money tied up that long. Figure was solicited waaaay back around the same time as Blacula..... and still hasnt seen the light of day beyond a few prototypes. Nate probably wont be here until next year if we are lucky. Better to spend cash languishing in someone else's bank account to buy these kits for my collection than taking money away from the family coffers at this point. Especially if the product pre-paid for is facing difficulties getting produced.
