Yep ordered as soon as it went up for order. I don't want dust getting on it so i won't display it in the open. I'm getting a new unit built for my Real Steel robots so i'm hoping he can go in there with them.

I must be the only one that thinks this but i think i like the base more than i do the Optimus! Congrats Jim! I'm more of a Generation One Transformers fan...

Thanks Andy. I like the G1's too, but I also enjoyed watching these new movie and really liked the new look of Optimus Prime also. So then it was a no brain for me. I had to purchase this beast. The base is a major plus too.

Yeah, I hear you. I keep mine dusted often though. It's such a pain, but one of these days I will have a display for it.

I've got the entire collection of G1 Transformers from Hard Hero. The majority of them were busts but the Optimus and Megatron were also statues...i love those statues hence why i cant sell them

I don't know if you knew where that piece came from, but it is from the Best Buy Exclusive Blu-ray Gift Set. The head piece was done by Sideshow Collectibles also.

Ex Optimus came with 2 switch out energon swords not switch out head bro. Damn I so regret missing on Ex.
