I am watching escape from NYC for the first time !
wow russel does the perfect big boss impression.
he is getting ready to rescue the president.

You do realize that Escape From New York was made 6 years before Metal Gear was released, right?

Russel wasn't doing a Big Boss impression, Kojima was making a character based on Russel's Snake ;)

@rampagesss : WOW...!!!!! Nice collection you got there. :love
BTW..... do you had MGS HD Collection LE (*** Ver.), are those came with special artbook just like the other version?????

Yea I have the European (Australian / English) version pictured in the top left and I have the American and Japanese version as well so I have all 3 of them

How there can be such many different MGS/MG games :D? Are there many duplicates?

No Duplicates they are all different, they may have different age ratings different covers and even different languages

All different regions as far as I can see.

You are correct I have games from Australia, Japan, America, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the very hard to find North Korea

So they all play the same, right?
And there are only how many MGS games really?

I only ask as I quit being a completest quite a few years ago on ALL of the lines and things I collect. I'm strictly an opener now as I can't afford to spend money on stuff that'll just sit on a shelf.

Again, different strokes for different folks...

Though I do wonder how many other things one could buy with the amount of coin dropped to have all of those games...?

Before this I collected G1 Transformers and believe me this is so much cheaper and don't take up the amount of space, and I like collecting MGS better

I didn't even know there were that many versions available!

It must of taken a lot of long painful hours tracking all those down and then being able to acquire then. I doubt you got them all at the time of release and had to backtrack and pick version up later on?

I'm an in the middle collector. I've chosen to taken some of the figure out of the box and i've left some in the plastic prison. I'd probably think about taking them out but i've keep them boxed for so long now, it's the principal

Yea its taken I few years now and I’m still trying to track more down, have a lead on the MSX games from Japan and a few more I’m missing.
I also have a fair few figures and at first kept them all MIB but then opened 1 to have on display, after that I opened every MGS figure I own and love having them out on display

I used to collect Beast Wars and Beast Machines. It's a shame that I got out before they started doing all those masterpiece toys. I got masterpiece prime and then I was done.

I was all about Beast Wars when I was kid, I had about 97% of the TV show line and some of the what-if figures like Optimus Minor and Cybershark.

I gave them all away :pow

I probably could of made 500$+ for my collection.

I had Optimus Minor & Cybershark too! Plus a crapload of other Beast Wars figures. Too bad not many survived the test of time. I recently got the whole series on DVD, it's rather cheap on Amazon. :offtopic:

I definitely need to pick those up finally.

Dinobot forever, the greatest of Cybertron!

"He lived a warrior, died a hero. May his spark join the Matrix. The greatest of Cybertron." :monkey2

I cried at that episode.

Who didn't? Even my dad cried. That's the reason I bought the boxset, it also came with a prequel comic. Dinobot is the best Transformer alongside Optimus Prime.

I did too. It was on Netflix so I watched the whole show recently with my girlfriend. She got really upset when he died too :crying

Me personally, I think he was the great of them all. I was immediately a fan with his first appearance.

I love how he took on all the Predacons on his own and beat all their asses and he wasn't even a Transmetal.

Don't know how this turned into the MGS/Beast Wars collection thread, but I like it. :lol
