I think I'm going to cancel this guy with Sideshow and reorder him at Urban Samurai. It just seems to make more sense for Canadians. I didn't care back when I was buying figures at $90 or even $150, but paying 10% in Canadian dollars (the exchange rate doesn't make any sense), $25 for shipping, and then more at the door from FedEx, it's becoming stupid.

I missed Odin at Retail but did pick him up at a great discount. Something I see Loki becoming.

That's where we differ. Because once a lot of in-hand owner's pix start circulating, I see the remainder of this run going fast.

Comparing the popularity of the Odin figure to the popularity of Loki is not equivalent. Odin has nowhere near Loki's charisma. The HT Odin is a great figure and I'd love to own him, but Loki, he is NOT.

You are right on the money.
Night and day difference. And even to a casual observer this has the looks to be one of HT's best, Loki fan or not.

Ahhh sorry mate, I thought he was still available. But I see they have Black Widow back in (I think she went out of stock too) might be worth keeping an eye on the site, or drop them an email, see if they are getting more in?

I'm just glad to talk about something that isn't Iron Man related, at least for 5 minutes. And I love Iron Man, but holy cow.....

Anyway, this looks completely wikked. Some of the photos really make you wish that the cape were more poseable.

Just to add my thoughts on the "Clearance Shelf" idea...

Even though I do not have him in hand just yet, and I admit that I have only the OMG pictures to go by, and yes they have tweaked the sculpt just a tiny amount, and yes BANE caught a lot of people out by being so great....

But I see this as a real FOTY material for sure, if not the actual FOTY proper. I do not, however, see it a shelf warming stock of any kind.

I originally ordered Loki from Modelzone for £185. But I've just placed another order for him with Sideshow using the SPRING2013 code and got the international shipping free! Not including customs fee's Loki has cost me £143. I'm really pleased with that as Modelzone probably won't get him until sometime in June and I can't wait that long! Just have to decide if I'm going to keep the original order and have two!
