Darth Maul Legendary Scale Figure

I'd buy this if you feel he's for you.. I'd say that to anyone about any statue.. go with your own feelings Luke...LOL could not resist... But.. I find this to be an awesome addition to my collection, and have no regrets at all.. If you do buy Maul Congrats.... PS he's scary in low lighting.. very ominous! Oh, I'd like to add I have #102... This was written in black marker on the the shipping box in all lower corners... like they do with the PF's.... I know it doesn't appear on the statue, but this must have been the 102 one made. I wonder if the total made was 200 or 250.... again all speculation and I don't even care about the number..

Thanks for your help man! Yeah I definitiely getting the itch again to pick this up. Maul is by far my favorite PT character so I would love to get this as my ultimate Maul piece. Plus I would consider getting Fett and Vader if they would be released. I read most of the this thread and I saw you didn't like this piece at one point. I wonder what made you change your mind? Did you see it in person before you ordered? Anyway I will decide soon and at least put it on flex pay. Is there any other owners of this piece that has some opions and perhaps more pics? Thank

Yes originally I saw some very bad photos and it turned me off.. then I did more research checked other sources, and spoke with a CS rep from SSC and recieved some pics from a friend in MO who purchased one.. I was sold... Glad I did.. seems Wolf and now IM are wait-listed.. That taught me a lesson.. look before you leap..

I complained and ridiculed the saber but the more I look at this piece the more I want it. Most people that own it are thrilled with it. I missed out on the 1:1 Elm studios bust so I want an ultimate Maul piece to go with the 1/4 premium format and Mythos statue.

SSC must be hearing the collectors.. I called yesterday to ask about the Iron Man LSF.. he's now wait-listed. I was told and I quote.. "Iron Man LSF production run has ended.. there will be no more.. He is wait listed and if anyone who flexed it can't continue their payments he will go to the next on the wait list... Wolf Pred LSF.. has ended his factory run.. there will be no more and again.. if a flexpay comes available.. it will go to a wait list person.. and finally Darth Maul is in the same category. .. When he sells out he will become wait listed.. You can spin this anyway you want.. but I wanted the Iron Man LSF and now he's no more .. I have Wolf and Maul and love them!!! Take this for what it is worth... SSC isn't playing with these......

Okay, I just broke down and ordered one. I was thinking of going the BBTS route (no tax), but apparently they are already sold out.

Just saw another one that has a lightsaber defect. I really wanted Darth Maul LSF, but at this price, it is just too big a risk for me to buy if it doesn't work. You should have fixed this Sideshow.

For now I'm gonna stick with the Indy LSF, hopefully no electronics on him that will eventually fail.

Regardless of this being around for a long time or not I went ahead and put one on Flex. Yes the price is high but I really love this piece and it would fit in well with my display. Looking forward to getting it hopefully I can pay it off early in May.

Congrats.. We love ours.. it's problem free and the only issue was the tiny end-cap at the end of one saber blade needed to be glued back on with a dab of superglue.. took 2 mins. of my time... it's the end that gives the blade the rounded look.. it's about the size of a nickel.. just a very very minor issue for one of my favorite statues in my collection!

Always remember to click the base power switch on first... then click and hold in the light saber button and watch the blades light up..When clicking the saber switch off.. the blades fade down the shaft towards the hilt as if the light is retracting in.. very cool feature....then click off the base switch... I love Maul posed with the cloak and hood.... You will also noticed how the saber is not "chunky" in person as it appears in some pics.... Please post pics when he lands in your collection...

Yes, If you watch the unboxing video at SSC website you see it and it's in the awesome direction manual in the box... If you switch these on out of order, the saber will light, but the neon will not glow the entire length of the saber.. but if you switch the base on first, and then the saber as they advise.. my sabers glow bright red, and the light fills the entire saber.... also make sure your Maul feet, torso and two sabers are seated properly for the sabers to work at their awesome potential.. I have had no issues as long as I followed the proper procedures... Enjoy all!
