Seeing the prototype/inhand/reviews of this figure has made me realize that "headsculpt" is everything. If the headsculpt does not blow me away (for a $200+ figure) then I feel nothing for the rest of the figure.

I feel nothing for the pictures I have seen. Huge fan of Predator 2 but here I have zero temptation to make this purchase. If anything this figure has made me love the movie Predator design even less…..:dunno

You said this about 100 times already.:lol

Nice pics GG, Love that you included the proper background in your shots:clap So whats your overall impression of the figure now that you got him?

Errr, that's a tough one. Right from the start I've been in the moaning clan about the accuracy but once you get a Pred in hand it does get better. As I mentioned earler it's the little nitpicks that were bugging me with this figure (see earlier posts :lol). It's taken me a week to play around with it and find a pose I'm happy with and photographs well (and he does look great in some of the photos on here).

Hot Toys really does need to up their game with future Preds though; better bases that support the figure and more attention to detail (like hands that can hold a spine). And an articulated spine would be great...

I can agree with all that, I like the newer body they are using, but at the same time I kinda don't:cuckoo: I like the fact that these bodys look better from a visual standpoint, however they pose like crap, kinda the same articulation that you found on the old gijoe classic collection figures from the ninetys:monkey4 You really can't get anything interesting in terms of dynamic poses, just kinda standing there holding a spear or trophy up, just boring in that reguard.

I mean look at the figure, if you added double jointed knees it really would'nt hurt the look as its covered by the knee pads, I could see the problem with double jointed elbow and the ab crunch joint as there would be an eye sore I guess. I dunno I'm kinda conflicted:dunno

Yeah I understand. I'm not feeling him too much either to be honest. At first the accuracy issues annoyed me but now it's things like lack of hands, difficulty putting the hands on when the blades are in the way, the head falling off whenever you repose it, too small a base to put him on etc... The same BS all over again. He will be my last Hot Toys Pred until they change their ways.

No love for Scar then?

i finally found a way to have extra bodies for P1 and P2 and not keep them in boxes + use many parts from "guardian" who is too ugly and dull tokeep him together.
extra classic body is turning into boar, and extra p2 body is turning into gort. as they were based on those body colors in the movie. guardian armor details go to boar and helmet goes to gort.
they'll boath have deattachable helmets with functioning faces of tsang-classic and tsang-p2 under them :)
p.s. i may be wrong about "boar", i never remembered those given nicknames correctly.
pics... in a week or more )

NECA are as bad with not providing adequate hands for Predators. Mostly all you get is closed fists or open palm hands. One or two of their Losties came with one hand that could hold a spear, their masked city hunter had one spear holding hand....other than that they can't hold $h!t. Ridiculous.

You'd swear there was some rule against predator action figures having above a bare minimum quota of weapon/spine holding hands.

Awww, so sorrry puddin. :monkey2

Talk about melodramatic. :cuckoo:

This might be the most ridiculous reaction I've seen in this thread yet.
