The Legend jacket fits pretty well with a bit of tweaking. When I get the chance I will do a full weathering, mod job..

Looks awesome. That's my favorite look.

Hot Toys dropped the ball by leaving the jacket out.

Decided to lighten the vest armour and add some sculpy to the mask crevice. Will probably do some more attempts when I get some spares in:

Aside from the fact that Bane's not an iconic character and only die hard batman fans will pick him up........ ?

Also lots of Hot Toy's figures don't come with much. The new Wolverine has.....nothing.

I dont know, I could easily see them doing a DX version. The fact that this doesnt come with much of anything is VERY suspicious to me.

The only thing this tells me is that HT are trying to maximise their cost-to-content profits...put as little out as possible and get as much as possible back.

Batman is a very popular franchise. They know whatever they release will sell.

So my hopes for an HT, fully blue-lighted, fully chromed BATMAN & ROBIN style Mr. Freeze figure may yet happen

Unless they are trying to NOT make money, they are very aware of the fact that they could release 3 versions of Bane and all will sell. They did that with the Joker, and all sold.

Again with people comparing the Joker to Bane! To compare Bane to the Joker is a joke in itself surely? It's ludicrous. Let me see...How can I express this clearly..? Bane is a single MMS figure because he is Bane and not the Joker...The Joker figures were made multiple times with some being 1:4 scale and some being DX and all have sold because he is THE JOKER! You would never, ever get that with Bane. End of.

There really is no reason why they wouldnt make a DX version with the PERS, motorcycle outfit, that other black jacket he wears, those detonators he uses, come with a light up nuclear bomb, and fix the mask. That would sell out very quickly, and Im almost willing to put money on them doing this at some point. Im that confident that they will knowing how they operate. They double, triple and quadruple dip all their big franchises as much as they can.

There really is no reason why they would make a DX version. They have made a nice little slice from this well calculated figure, but they are not stupid. HT are too clever to risk any more on Bane. They could do this, and they could do that, and they could do the other....but I bet they won't.

Pulled most of the buttons off, sanded and started to paint it. I need to extend the belt also. I really just stuck it on in that pic to see what needs to be changed.
Anyone looking for one of these jackets should head to ebay, I would imagine there will be a demand for them, I've seen them mentioned for Bane quite a number
of times now.

I'd say that the color is definitely around dark brown. While the stitching on the shoulders are somewhat different in the angles, it's definitely close enough having checked other photos of Bane with the jacket.

Well I already snagged one off ebay (found a decent enough deal at $47 free shipping). Thanks for the heads-up though Rory, definitely gonna be trying this out myself. Even if a DX or 2.0 comes out later I'd probably be too lazy anyway, so I'll make the most out of this release by grabbing spare parts.

Are you going to keep your custom head (yours looks amazing) or work on the HT one? I have to say the hardy likeness on the stock HT one is very impressive.
